The hospital in Hawaii where Barack Obama claims he was born refuses to produce any documentation without permission of the president himself.
The Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women and Children in Honolulu has posted on its website a letter on White House stationary dated Jan. 24 in which Obama wrote, "As a beneficiary of the excellence of Kapi'olani Medical Center – the place of my birth – I am pleased to add my voice to your chorus of supporters."
Kristy Watanabe, the public relations specialist for the hospital refused to confirm or deny the veracity of Obama's letter claiming he was born at the hospital.
"Our comment to everyone who has been calling is that federal law does not permit us to provide any more details concerning information [about Obama's birth] without authorization from Mr. Obama," Watanabe told WND.

Hey, this should be simple. All Obama needs to do is just give the approval. Oooooorrrrr, will he spend another $1M to keep anyone from getting information from the hospital.
I thought a relative could get the BC pulled by the state and I thought Orly had a relative who would join her lawsuit and get the BC?
OK...sounds like a simple phone call from the anointed one, and the whole BC issue could be put to rest.

The Hospital does not need his approval to say he wasn’t born there. If there is no record, there is no privacy to protect.

So if a person having a common ancestor with the registrant can request a proper vault copy,

Perhaps water down the demand from “produce documentation.” State that he was born there. Hospitals announce births without running afoul of HIPPA or any other protected privacy interest.

I always read everything for every detail. Is it of interest that the hospital spokesperson said that they could not divulge information without the consent of “Mr. Obama” rather than “President Obama”?

The birth certificate of a Republican would “leak” out quicker than sh*t through a goose. It’s only when a Democrat is involved that all of a sudden rules are rules. Notice we’ve all of a sudden stopped that nasty leaking at CIA, NSA, DIA, FBI, etc?

With all due respect, that's BS. It's a constitutional issue that affects every US citizen, not a private issue between a public figure and this hospital he claims he was born in.
I just got my daughter’s birth certificate from California and there you had to be the person, or their mother, father, sibling, child, spouse for starters. The rest were public official type that could get the certified copy.
Doubt if his sister would do it so I doubt if there is anyone else that could get the certificate.
The one part that doesn’t fit for me is why would a pregnant woman travel to Kenya to give birth? I’ve no doubt there is something on that BC that would embarass BO but I can’t get my mind around the travel to Kenya, especially in that era.
Oh For G*d’s sake, how many times can this story be posted before anyone understands the law.

That's just BS. The "privacy" umbrella was folded the minute BHO claimed to have been born in that hospital. If was telling the truth, no new information would be revealed by confirming it. If he wasn't, the actual place of his birth would still not be revealed.
But with the Chicago Mob in charge in DC, I can't say as I blame the hospital for the CYA move.

Could be, but so what? I couldn’t hold that against him. There are an unlimted number of things I can hold against him, but not that.
Of course he did. Two in fact. However neither authorized release to the general public, or even journalists/reporters in general. Just to two specific reporters, both with their heads so far up his ash they hadn't seen daylight in years.
So, he can truthfully say he signed the SF 180 and released the documents, as long as he doesn't add "to the public".

The popular anti-Zero allegation is that Obama’s mama got pregnant in Kenya, and attempted near her due date to go to Hawaii to give birth. Some snafu kept her off the plane, and soon afterward she delivered baby Barack in Kenya. Then she caught another flight to Hawaii, taking baby Barack with, and had Barack’s birth registered there.
Obama could put paid to all this discontent in a moment by okaying the Hawaiian hospital to vouch that he was actually BORN there, if indeed he was. This guy is not just a buffoon but also a cruel joker if that is the story.
