He was either sent to the program to deliver the message to Israel, Iran and others.... or he is gonna get a hell of a whuppin in the White House woodshed.
He was sent on the program to bang the drum, loudly. See the Sunday Times thread. The statement is factually correct, even though Obama doesn't believe it. (Zero can not possibly control Israel, or much of anything else.) There are going to be better opportunities for Israel then while Iran is gnawing its entrails out all by itself. This likely amounts to an awkward attempt at introducing Chicago thuggery into international relations.
My guess is the latter. I think he talks but is not in on decision making.
Kind of like good cop, bad cop and he doesn’t know he is being played or doesn’t care.
