He was either sent to the program to deliver the message to Israel, Iran and others.... or he is gonna get a hell of a whuppin in the White House woodshed.
“Israel can determine for itself - it’s a sovereign nation - what’s in their interest and what they decide to do relative to Iran and anyone else.”
Nice. Now say the same thing about Honduras. Thanks!
But your boss does not think that Honduras is a sovereign nation and can do what's in their interest and what they decide to do relative to Zelaya and anyone else."
Ha! I can just picture Stephanopoulos practically waving his arms around and shouting "No, no, no Joe!"
Sounds like a green light to me. And then there is the report that the Saudis won’t complain too much if the IAF uses their airspace.
Ha ha!! Either barry went back to the WH w/ his tail between his legs, or Biden is “speaking truth” once again, against barry’s wishes!!!
...call me crazy...but I am beginning to like old Big-Mouth, Slackjawed....Biden....
I would HOPE Obama would have Isreali footprints down his back if he tried to get in Isreal’s way.
Does this include overflights thru Iraq?
Follow up. Does the same thing go for Honduras mister vice president?
Nor will Obama defend Israel against a muslim nation.
“I’m Barack Obama and I did NOT approve this message.”
no more secrets for Joe: the guy never shuts up.
Where is lil mrs. hillary? Is she not the SOS? I know 0 wouldn’t allow her to go to Russia. For the SOS, she sure is quiet.
What is he going to do about Joe?
When muslim 0 is away, the kiddies play.
Maybe Joe just spoke out of turn, but, like a broken clock, this is his time to be right.
Israel is a sovereign nation.
On the other hand, Saudi Arabia greatly fears Iran, and Obama bows to the Saudi king.
Is this true??
Second piece of good news today
Saudis give nod to Israeli raid on Iran

Biden: US not stand in Israel’s way on Iran
16 minutes ago
WASHINGTON (AP) Vice President Joe Biden seemed to give Israel a green light for military action to eliminate Iran’s nuclear threat, saying the U.S. “cannot dictate to another sovereign nation what they can and cannot do.”...
Biden was asked in the interview that if the Israelis decide they need to try to take out Iran’s nuclear program, would the U.S. stand in the way militarily?
“We cannot dictate to another sovereign nation what they can and cannot do,” the vice president replied. “Israel has a right to determine what’s in its interests, and we have a right and we will determine what’s in our interests.”

I'm amazed that Dan Quayle took so much flak for years, and yet with Biden, it's just a friendly chuckle and an "Aww, Joe" from the media. There's no way that the Administration is trying to punk Iran on the heels of trying to make nice with them. Yet here's Joe, dropping a threat that might make John Bolton say, "Ohh, harsh."
As much as I’d like to see this as a green light to Israel, the more probable explanation is that Joe is off his meds again.
We are going to see Biden with a broken arm...is it not what “Hussein” does when people speaks out of his chosen script ? Hilary has not yet recovered.
That has to be another one of Joe’s off the cuff gaffes, because no President would send that kind of message to Israel or the Muslim world via the media, and especially not via Joe Biden.
As I understand it, Israel is planning on using their Jericho III missiles as the tip of their spear in any attack on Iran. Sometime back, I saw that the US has modified their SLBM’s to use a hardened non-nuclear warhead, similar to the rods from god scenarios. I’d expect that the Israelis would have a similar capability with their ICBM’s. It wouldn’t take to many ICBM’s fitted with Tungsten alloy warheads to totally evicerate the Iranian program, and their buried hardened sites wouldn’t be any match for the kinetic vehicles that will probably be employed.
And they bashed Palin for saying that we shouldn’t second-guess if Israel decides to defend itself.
New headline for city edition
Who wants to bet that Ol’ Joey Biden won’t be running with Obama again in 2012?
Obama has extended the big freeze to Israel, and has sent olive branches and soft words of loooove, to Ahmadinejad. So somehow I think Jokin Joe is on his own here.
Gotta love his style... (as long as he’s on their team)
I hope Biden has a good summer and winter home somewhere far away from DC.
Rahm, Soros and the teleprompter reader are not gonna like this one.
Need to keep this for posterity. Come a PUB prez & war begins with Iran, RATS will be screaming “I didn’t say that!”
I think the operative word is “can’t”. It’s official, the election of Buttcrack Hussein means that Israel has no allies.
Oh please, Joe. Hussein is gonna tell Israel to go ahead and bomb his fellow Muslims?
I never thought I would ever come to say this but Im actually starting to like Joe Biden. The more he talks the more I like him.
Interesting timing, interesting venue. Why in the context of a public statement on a U.S. television network is my first question. We do have a State Department for this sort of thing. The answer is that it is sensationalistic and public, an answer to the persistent and now ridiculous chest-pounding of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, which should now approach the point of hysteria as a result. First the Saudis, and now us. That's going to look rather alarming from the point of view of Tehran, and the customary answer, a Red Square-style military parade, is probably not going to go over very well given recent events there.
As far as overflight in Iraq, that isn't up to the United States any more than Israeli military operations. Iraq isn't simply a puppet, it really is a sovereign country that may or may not wish to be placed in a position of alliance with the Israelis despite the constant Iranian agitation for violence within their country. The Saudi statement may have been a hint that the Arab world might not look so much askance on that as one might assume. There is, however, from the point of view of the Iraqis, the domestic political situation with regard to the Shi'ites to take into consideration. It may be that the Ayatollah Sistani might be able to help in that regard. Wheels within wheels.
The reason Joe was chosen to deliver the message (assuming that he was, this is, after all, Joe Biden) is plausible deniability. 0bama's advisors see too much of a negative reaction, Joe takes one for the team. It's an interesting working relationship - one wonders what the result would have been had Dick Cheney said something similar. Because he wouldn't have been bluffing.

Reporting from Washington Vice President Joe Biden issued a high-level admonishment to Israel's new government Tuesday that it would be "ill advised" to launch a military strike against Iran.
Obummer and Biden = Frick and Frack
next he'll tell the wimmen folk that they may birth their babies if they want...
I really wish I could believe him.
U.S. Won't stop the next California earthquake, either.

Could be the man will be the President soon...since we’ve got an usurper in the WH.
I am amazed that he sent out this signal. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. I will give Plugs credit for this, but when does he go under the bus.
Dear Joe and Barack,
Thank you for the green light. The bombing begins in fifteen minutes.
Sincerely,
Bibi
I think Biden is saying that Israel is on its own and the USA will not help.
Obama is following the Saudi’s lead.
Feeling a bit better today about the man who is a few thousand cigarette butts away from the presidency.
