U.S. Vice President Joe Biden said on Sunday that the Obama administration would not stand in Israel's way should the latter chooses to take military action to eliminate Iran's nuclear threat.
Israel has the right to determine its own course of action with regard to the Iranian nuclear threat regardless of what the Obama administration chooses to do, Biden told ABC reporter George Stephanopoulos.
When asked whether the Obama administration would restrain Israeli military action against Iran, Biden responded: "Israel can determine for itself - it's a sovereign nation - what's in their interest and what they decide to do relative to Iran and anyone else."

To say that his flip-flopping is ill-timed would be a massive understatement.
I’m just wondering if Bibi laid down the law to the little &^#%@). Maybe he told ostammer that he WILL go ahead with attacking Iran whether ostammer likes it or not, so ostammer checked the polls on the question and discovered that Americans support Israel.
I think this does come from ostammer and it’s his way of voting “present” on the subject so he won’t have to take much heat from either side, whether Israel attacks Iran or not. I think he figured out that his position on Israel was perceived more anti-Israel than is good for him politically so he’s modified it to hedge his bets.

...unless the mixed message is EXACTLY what is intended. That way, no matter how it turns out, he can always point to either what he said or what Biden later said as having been his position.
Another possibility is that he knows through intel or communications with Israel that this will happen. Ostammer doesn’t want to look like his position was ignored and/or he got punked by Bibi because it diminishes his authority/standing/position as world’s most important leader.
Hmmmm..I wonder if planes would be the method? Israel has 5 to 7 subs now..... Missles should arrive before any notice could be given.

For the life of me I as a Christian, do not understand how any sane Jew could support anyone that does not side with Israel.
For me, I am as Patriotic to Israel as I am to my own country. Though I will admit I am for my side before anyone else. I am just not willing to through Israel into the sewer of the Middle East and see it flushed like so much effluence in that part of the world.

Probably this, probably that. None of us have any clue where Iran's nuclear assets are located, how many there are, or whether they're underground or hidden in the sides of mountains. Nobody has any idea what type of weapon(s) Israel will use, or if they will even attempt it. My money is on the notion that Israel has been working covertly for months and months, and at a heated pace, to try to locate these sites. I do believe they will strike, and would have already. But it must be a combination of things which is not easy to pull off. That would be stealthy and quiet, and a sweep event where more than 1 aircraft or sub is deploying assets. Multi aircraft, multiple sites. Thus its no easy task on their plate.
Obama's probably wondering how he can send him off on the space shuttle.
This could be a warning to Iran that they better strike soon because Israel is no longer taking orders from the WH.
This is the green light Israel has been looking for.
That is my take on it as well. If people's lives and countries didn't hang in the balance it would be funny.
