Me thinks that the pre-Khomeini mullahs had enough of the Khomeini imported mullahs who took over. Maybe the Persians are waking up?

If this is true, all I can say is ‘wow’. God bless Iran. Good luck.

Even if the Grand Supreme dude survives this episode....he is simply in a waiting status for someone to get upset and go after him personally. I think his days in Iran are numbered.

If you had to write a script for the reasons why you don’t want religion mixed into political thinking...this is a great example.

I get the feeling that this is meant to show Obama/UN that they are really serious about changing the current leadership - this is a big step for these guys (who probably want power for themselves). All I hear are crickets chirping!

The mullahs are showing more courage than most people in the U.S. in standing up to our tyrannical Supreme Leader.

“This crack in the clerical establishment, and the fact they are siding with the people and Moussavi, in my view is the most historic crack in the 30 years of the Islamic republic,”

They're also taking a stand against President Obortion by their actions.

Didn't they fall under his trance during his "historic Cairo speech"?
