WASHINGTON (AP) - Just in time for the documents 233rd anniversary, President Barack Obama has issued an executive order apologizing to Great Britain for Americas Declaration of Independence in 1776.

This is not news. It shouldn’t be in this category.
This is satire..... right?
OK. This is a joke right? Even HE can’t be this stupid.
this has a pretty good similarity to an actual event:
If we really want to make up with Great Britain, said Biden, we need to become more like them. We should adopt their health care system. And their ban on guns. And their ban on knives. Man, I hate knives I cut myself on one last time I was in my secret undisclosed location under the old U.S. Naval Observatory hey, this is off the record, right?
IBTGF
It wouldn’t surprise me if he did.
We are part of Great Britain again now, we can all stop brushing our teeth ...
Yes.
It’s political satire.
“This is satire..... right?”
There is no such thing as satire when discussing the Obama administration.
One just never knows....
Yes. I recognize that fact. But it is not breaking news.
i feel a zot coming. this should nit be posted here.
This part was good:
“said Obama. But the manner in which it was handled was an affront to acceptable diplomatic norms. This crude and disparaging document heaped numerous, undeserved insults on the divine ruler of our compassionate and nurturing motherland. It used such crass and dispicable terms as tyrant and despot to describe the gracious tolerance of King George the Third to the aspersions and indignities heaped upon him by a cabal of ungrateful rebels.”
Isn't it sad when you have to wonder if an article is satire or not?
Sadly we all can see the current president making an apology like this cuz he has apologized for just about everything else LOL
JJ61
To make up for it the alleged President sent the Queen a complete set of the collected works of Don Ho.
Helps build up the image of him as a native of Hawaii, you see...
The bigger problem is that he sent them on 8-track.
Is anyone old enough to remember 4-track?
LMAO
> Is anyone old enough to remember 4-track?
Yes. I had one. It was like a mini version of an 8-track.
I got stuck with 2 dozen tapes when the abandoned it.

I am not a supporter of Obama. I think that it was atrocious for him to disgrace our country. I cannot believe any true American would apologize for liberty. If he loves it so much let him go live in England. We do not want him here!!!!
This is satire, you know.
I realized it after the post. My sentiments remain the same regarding Obama anyways. I wish the British would take him back. Afterall he is from Kenya!!
This is not funny by any stretch of the imagination! Particularly coming on Independence Day. That a president of the United States can do such a thing, even in “fun”, is unthinkable and is very tacky, to say the least.
I had one in one of my Chevys, before upgrading to 8-tracks in the 1960s. I still have some 4-track cartridges. When I upgraded, I got converter units. You popped them into the bottom hole of a 4-track cartridge, and then you could play them in an 8-track (of course you only had 2 channels, not 4 to choose from). I still have over 50 to 75 8-track cartridges, as well as an 8-track recorder/player unit and several players. Too nostalgic to discard them.
Harrumph!
This doesn’t work well -
Obie is a “black liberationist” before he is an anti-American. He hates the British more than America because of their “imperialism” in Africa.
Harrumph? :)
LOL!
