Only one more than I did, and I made it to the Ivy League and a graduate degree, and now I make ten times more money than you.
Sarah Palin came from a very humble background. It took her a while, but she earned a college degree by the sweat of her own brow. To me that is far more respectable than a Ted Kennedy skating into and out of Harvard with a C average on the strength of his family name, family money, and the best tutors and exam ringers that money can hire.
I have no patience for people who were able to finish their schooling without interruptions, via affirmative action or family support, but now look down on those who were not so blessed.

She completed one semester in Hawaii, then transferred to a JC in Idaho. Then, after completing a year's study there, she transferred to the University of Idaho. Save for one stint at another JC for a semester, she was enrolled continually until graduation in 1987.
So unlike Rush Limbaugh, Bill Gates, Woody Allen, Michael Dell, Walt Disney, William Safire, Dave Thomas, Ted Turner, John Wayne and Steve Jobs, who all either quit school or were kicked out and never graduated, Sarah Palin did pretty well.
