Rick Sanchez of CNN is a liberal, ethnocentric open-borders advocate. When Tancredo states the truth about Sotomayor, Sanchez employs the usual tactic of interrupting and overtalking but - Tom gets the last word in! That alone makes this short video clip worth viewing.

Too bad when the only way a Conservative can be heard is to be interviewed by an ill mannered big mouthed representative of the “media”. No wonder so many people have thrown good manners to the wind when they watch the “media” day in and day out. Tom Tancredo is 100% correct and he is made to look like a nothing by the “media”.who have a Socialist agenda to nurture.
Today’s group thinkers would have a far different opinion of this video than I.

Didn't some La Raza members get convicted of bombings around Denver in the 60-70’s?

It’s about time we toss away the decorum and start calling these people for what they are. I’ll start with “vermin”.

Yea, not only that but she May Sue the SCOTUS Over New Haven Ruling. Satire, but Teddy the Swimmer used it in an effort to sink Alito.

Here's what Jonah Johansen had to say:

In Colorado we had a "La raza" group called "Crusade for Justice" run by Corky Gonzales. In the 70s they were a full fledged terrorist group.

They went on a bombing cam pain in the mid 1970s. Fortunately their bomb maker was a total incompetent. Two bombs went off inside the cars of the people preparing to set the bombs killing all the people in the car(3 young people in both cases). One happened in the Burger King parking lot in Boulder. The car belonged to a senior Crusade for Justice official who was never prosecuted. For years the activists tried to blame the bombs on "the government". About a year later the number two man at Crusade for justice set off a bomb downtown Denver. He then placed two bombs about a 1/2 mile away set to go off about 30 mins later. The idea was for the first bomb to attract lots of police and fire men. Then when the second bomb went off they would all run to the scene of the second bombing. What know one new was that a third bomb was placed in a metal newspaper stand set to go off 15 mins later. The terrorist was hoping to kill all the police officers and firemen who rushed over to the site of the second bombing. Fortunately the Crusade for Justice terrorist blew himself up setting the second bomb and the bomb put in the metal newspaper stand failed to go off.

As far as I remember this pretty much put an end to the bombing campaign. In Colorado these events while widely reported at the time have fallen into some kind of memory hole. When Corky Gonzales died recently he was treated like saintly legend not the leader of a terrorist group responsible for the death of at least 7 people, attempting to kill dozens of police and firemen. "

Tancredo is an idiot. I wish John Cornyn would be more in front as a Republican spokesperson. He is much more of a statesman than many. Esp Tancredo and Romney and Newt.

I watched the utube video clip. It is unfortunate that today's Marxist media cannot have an intelligent debate. Rick Sanchez absolutely failed to answer the simple question! He should resign his job in shame. What a disgraceful, biased, and hostile interviewer he is!

Well, Sanchez, is Sotomayor a member of La Raza or not? Huh? Tell us more about Sotomayor, please!

DallasSun, You have it backwards. Tancredo is a statesman who represents where the GOP grassroots is. John Cornyn, though he votes conservative, is an idiot who does what his masters in the GOP leadership tell him to do. Perhaps his most embarrassing episode was when he endorsed Arlen MacSpecter and then had egg on his face when "loyal Republican" Specter switched to the RAT party. Cornyn reminds me of the Texas version of our milquetoast GOP party chairman here in Illinois, Andy McKenna: talks tough against the RATs, but when it comes to actually pursuing an agenda he's more than happy to "work with his friends in a bipartisan manner" and denounces any "controversial" tactics that would actually stop their socialist agenda. We could do much better in Texas.

Well, you and I strongly disagree dont we? And I agree with Cornyn and Kaye Bailey and W on immigration. But then again, that is Texas isnt it? We have strong opinions but are respectful of each other. Cornyn is such a glowing improvement on Phil Gramm. But I have a rock in my backyard that would be an improvement over Gramm. God bless Texas.

You’re right, but I think more and more people are waking up to the hard realities that Tancredo and other conservatives are talking about - bankrupt public school districts, insolvent hospitals, astronomical social welfare costs, and billions for the ravages of the drug cartel. People are more aware than ever how much of their tax money is being pissed away on this outrageous illegality! Keep the faith!

I don’t know about that specific incident but I do know a huge number of them have been indicted and convicted for such illegal activities.

Great post and terrific satire! But I’m not laughing too hard because another Ginsburg or two on the Court might make it a reality! Your remark about Ted makes that point.

Thanks for that reference but after reading it my blood pressure probably went up ten points! Mexico, one of most corrupt nations in the Western hemisphere, is dumping its peons into America to avoid making the reforms necessary for them to live a decent life at home. For such scum to use a term like “Farce of July” is outrageous beyond words. The only ‘farce’ is that millions are coming here illegally and bankrupting our public school districts, our hospitals with free medical care, getting millions in social welfare services, and bringing us the human and fiscal horrors of the drug cartel! OK - if we’re such a national ‘farce’ then stay home and get the hell out!

Exactly right! As I said to another FReeper, Mexico is one of the most corrupt nations in the Western hemisphere and they are happy to export their peons to America rather than making the reforms that would give them a decent life. And, contrary to popular conception, Mexico is NOT a poor nation! It’s rich in natural resources and the wealthiest country in Central America. But if they export their social problems to the USA - and we pay our taxes for bankrupt public school districts, social welfare services, crime and prison incarceration, and the ravages of the drug cartel, then GUESS WHO’S BEING SUCKERED? (With the support of liberal politicians after the Hispanic vote.)

"Cornyn is such a glowing improvement on Phil Gramm"

Why do you say that? Seems to me you got it backwards.

And Tancredo's take on La Raza is correct, it's a racist organization like the KKK. I guess Bob Byrd knows which way he'll vote on the nomination.

We really disagree, don’t we? I found Gramm to be an embarrassment. I like Cornyn very much. I think we should agree to disagree with respect. Never the twain shall meet?? I am not offended when someone disagrees with me. Makes the world go around.
