The Top Ten Reasons Sarah Palin is Resigning....
10.Her mounting legal bills make it difficult to relax on her porch and stare at Russia.
9. She wants to raise Michael Jackson's children.
8. To pursue her goal of becoming a Tina Fey impersonator.
7. She wants to take time to learn all of her children's names.
6. Has an opportunity to teach "winking 101" at Harvard's political science department.
5. After returning all of her campaign attire, she's out of things to wear.
4. To start her own line of lip stick for pitbulls.
3. Wants to pick off David Letterman with a rifle from a helicopter.
2. To join forces with Mike Huckabee and host the most conservative and bizarre talk show on Fox.
1. To run for President of the United States.
How ‘bout: She’s one smart cookie.
This is an idiotic move if she wants to run for President. I assume she’s out for ‘12.
It is sickening the unmitigated glee of the left, DBM etc on this. Just hatred pure and simple.
Sarah will have the last laugh.
I attempted to find a conservative news source on Sarah’s resignation and can’t do it. It is all leftist bilge on Yahoo and Google, like they had it stored up.
3 more years of this hope and change, and America will be begging her to run for President.
No - very smart move. It’s only an “idiotic” move to those who thought she was going to run for prez.
You know it...
Well, it did one good thing at least—it got the molesting freak off the news and net for awhile.
Check out breaking news agains!!!
Just spoke with people VERY well connected with Palin’s DC operation.
Reports that she has announced to staff that she is permanently out of politics are NOT true.
Three caviats:
1: She may have told Alaska staff that she is out of politics forever. 2: She may have told Alaska staff that she is out of ALASKA politics forever. 3: Word may have not filtered down to DC yet.
That said, senior DC people very close to her think she is very far from out of politics.
How bout;
She’s going to rally women to get involved in government
She’s going to rally for oil drilling
She’s going to expose the global warming hoax
She’s going to fight Biden on taking the right to secret ballots from union members
She’s going to expose Obama and ACORN’s voting crimes
She’s going to take her time and watch Obama hang himself.
she was never in for ‘12 except in some folks imagination. what endears us to her is part of why she is not in for ‘12. she is not really a politician.
her move today has put a spring back in my step because i think she can put us back in the game for 2010. she’s taking a risk, but i believe we will be the winners for it because she will crystallize us. that is trouble for the Dems. thank you, Sarah.
Or thought she was gonna finish improving Alaska government.
now thats just a lefty comment right there!
I dont think you get Sarah Palin!
How ‘bout she’s going to accept a CEO role for a major energy? No matter....she’ll be just fine. No one needs to worry about her.
No Impy it is a smart move as Pat Buchanan summarized on an MSNBC show I got stuck watching (for video of Palin’s speech). It is following the path of Nixon, Clinton, Carter, Reagan and possibly other Governors who do not run from the office (ala Dukakis) but as a former Governor or VP in Nixon’s case. Nixon lost the CA Governor’s race coming off the close loss to Kennedy in 1960 and then bounced back to gain the presidency in 1968. How? These guys went around as freed up men, giving speeches, helping other candidates, etc. Paying dues.
Watch how Sarah takes on the scum to change the House back in 2010. We may then get some Impeachment resolutions.
I believe that you are right. She is too decent of a person for todays politics imho. I do believe that she has a role to plau however. She is not perfect (who is) but is a good person with a lot of talent.
Their desperation is quite delightful. I hope they keep it up for a long time....and....I hope she doesn’t respond to it. Let them slop around in it all by themselves.
The past 4 weeks were good to Romney. First Sanford cries for Argentina. Now Palin call its quits. These worked out perfectly for Slick Willard. Did he have a hand in it?
“First-term Senator Lisa Murkowski narrowly defeated former Governor Tony Knowles in 2004, with 49% of the vote. There were rumors that Governor Sarah Palin may have run against Murkowski to get the spotlight and as a launching board for a 2012 presidential run, but Palin will hold a fundraiser for Murkowski, hoping to end the rumors.[1] FiveThirtyEight.com lists Murkowski’s seat as the 24th most likely to switch parties (out of 37)[2]”

She’s going to go Rino huntin in 2010 to get some national experience. This explains it all.
3 more years of this hope and change BS, and there won’t be an America left.
She’s a quarter horse. A quarter horse can’t finish the race. She’s finished—politically.
A “lefty comment”? That’s a pretty absurd and out of left field accusation. So I guess it’s a “lefty comment” on your part.
Our good possible Presidential candidates appear to be dropping like flies.
Yes, Romney put Love Potion No. 9 in Sanford's morning coffee and in between dispatching his minions to talk Palin down in Vanity Fair
Get a life, people.
2.5 years as Governor is not a lot. She’s a stronger candidate the more time in office she has and more accomplishments she can point to.
Failing to bow at the altar of the Lipsticked Pitbull is the only qualification people need for declaring you a STINKIN' LIBERAL these days.
Uh no it wasn’t just in people’s imagination that she could run for President. And she still may but this is not a good sign for that.
Oh yeah. It is so much better to waste taxpayer money. She spends most of her time defending herself and not running the state.
This crap isn’t too much better than Letterman’s. Why do you post it here?
She sacrficed for her country: she did what she had to do to spare us from more dead pedophile coverage. A true patriot.
I don’t know, I think that may be giving the guy too much credit. Is he Machiavelli? Jafar from the Aladdin cartoon? If he was wouldn’t he have run a better race in 2008? No doubt he’s smiling though. And I think in the case of Sanford it’s very possible certain people may have known about his affair for a while, waiting to expose him at the right time.
It’s not certain Palin is out for President but that’s what I’m assuming.
2 down.
Haley Barbour and some other people need to step up. As does Sean Parnell to finish Palin’s job in Alaska.
This schmuck is about as funny as Al Franken.
Seven months after Election Day, and the attacks on Sarah Palin keep coming.
On Monday, CBS's David Letterman on the "Late Show" shamelessly went after the Alaska governor and her family during his opening monologue, as well as in his "Top Ten" list.
Top Ten Highlights Of Sarah Palin's Trip To New York
10. Visited New York landmarks she normally only sees from Alaska
9. Laughed at all the crazy-looking foreigners entering the U.N.
8. Made moose jerky on Rachael Ray
7. Keyed Tina Fey's car
6. After a wink and a nod, ended up with a kilo of crack
5. Made coat out of New York City rat pelts
4. Sat in for Kelly Ripa. Regis couldn't tell the difference.
3. Finally met one of those Jewish people Mel Gibson's always talking about
2. Bought makeup from Bloomingdale's to update her "slutty flight attendant" look
1. Especially enjoyed not appearing on Letterman

"One awkward moment for Sarah Palin at the Yankee game, during the seventh inning, her daughter was knocked-up by Alex Rodriguez."

And I’m not even against her I just don’t like this move.
We don’t want an Obama style personality cult where every move our person makes is “brilliant” even if it’s not. When the Emperor (or Empress) has no clothes s/he has no clothes.
She’s doing this for her family I guess, can’t fault that but I find it disappointing therefore I don’t “get Sarah”, whatever.
Last line of her speech:
“In the words of General MacArthur said, “We are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction”
Doesn’t sound like she will running away but running forward. And thank God for that.
Join SarahPAC
Its the only way to take of Alaska, I do not think she will ever consider running for office outside the state.
Sarah is an Alaskan, she lives in the town I live in, the rest of America can find its own leaders, if they can.
We have Sarah here, she can rally a better movement to forge a better way of life for Alaska.
Impy, who let you out of yer cage at the Democretin Blunderground?
How about she’s trying to get away from the MSM and Liberal perverts? They all seem to like her little kids.
Palin’s stock as a politican is bankrupt. However her stock as a celebrity is up, up and away. I think she will bea professional fundraiser. She make lots of speaking fees. Plus she can help fund pro-life causes, charities for autistic kids, and conservative candidates.
Really? How much experience and accomplishments did Obama have, a good speech and some community organizing?
Too bad, not one of this top ten has a smidgeon of truth and fails as humor.
LEAVE SARAH ALOOOOONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Palin is still young. Realistically she could be a candidate for 2016 or 2020, even then she would still only be in her mid to late 50s. But as far as 2012, forget it.
Excuse me? I would like her to run for and be President. So I’m a democrat? Take your meds Doc. I’m been here longer than you. Perhaps you are a democrat, here to spread discord amongst freepers.
If you have fault with something I’ve posted and would like to discuss it, fine. But I can’t fathom why you would think anything I’ve ever posted makes me a denizen of “Democretin Blunderground”.
[No - very smart move. Its only an idiotic move to those who thought she was going to run for prez.]
Smart move, dumb move, only time will tell. What it is is a bold executive move. It cuts a lot of Gordian knots she faced. We shall see.
