10.8% was Reagan cleaning up Carter’s crap and when Volcker still had a brain. I think the feds have fiddled the numbers to take bodies out of the statistics when people give up hope. My guess is we are at 14%.

Remember when Bush was Pres and the liberal newsmedia keep saying how bad the economy was when we had 5% unemployment.

We are in a depression and we hear about Michelle’s garden and other BS.

That chart is in desperate need of being updated, and pretty much obsolete, as the most recent data point is from January 2008, 18 months ago. The real unemployment percentage currently is closer to (if not more) than the 1982 peak.
