Ticket sales for Bushs Saturday evening speech have been "fantastic, said Landon Laubhan, a Woodward promoter who is handling arrangements for this weekends activities.
The way sales are going "we will be sold out for Saturday by Thursday, Laubhan said.
The former presidents appearance, his first in Oklahoma since he left the White House earlier this year, is part of a July 4 celebration to mark improvements at Crystal Beach Park and the parks 80th anniversary as well as the Fourth of July holiday.
Bush is scheduled to speak at 6:20 p.m. Saturday in the parks rodeo arena, which can seat 10,000, Laubhan said.
Ticket prices range from $25 for bleacher seats to $500 for on-the-floor seating.

Woodward is a nice little town... went thru it many times from Dallas to Liberal, KS.
I have a feeling a lot of hard feelings against President Bush are softening the farther we get into Barack Hussein’s Presidency.
George, I miss you!
I would be proud to go be with President Bush in Woodward, OK. It is 4 hours north of Lubbock, but I have wedding to attend!!! Darn Darn Darn! This Texan STILL loves W!!!
6:20pm...what time zone? Texas? If so...it is 8:20pm in Colorado. That’s what I am trying to figure out. Don’t want to miss this and will tape it anyway to have.
Central... Woodward is in Oklahoma!
I will never forget being in Crawford, TX for the July 4th parade in 2000. I was within 30 feet of George & Laura!
IF I was in Texas, I’d try to make it up there - but, alas, I’m in WNY.
I went to Midland in January when he came home. It was so great and I knew then, that he will one day be known for the true hero and great person that he really is....
I love W!
