Virginia just passed a ban on smoking in restaurants. Free? not any more.
Used to be Virginia would rate higher, even 10 years ago. It's turning blue around here now. Bad.
I actually support these bans. It gives me the freedom to eat without the stink of cigarettes ruining my meal. You have the freedom to smoke among those willing to tolerate that foul habit. You also have the freedom to be self-destructive in your personal habits. Just don't cry when tax-supported Medicare doesn't give you all the COPD treatement you think you need.
