GREGORY: ...the potential of revisiting a second stimulus come the fall. Do you think that’s appropriate?

GRAHAM: Yes, I think we should revisit it and make sure that it’s focused on jobs, not adding to the debt. If you had another vote in the Senate or the House, I think it would be redone, it would be more focused on job creation, because it clearly has not helped jobs, has added to the debt, and I think it just missed its mark. So I’d love to revisit it.

GRAHAM: I can be a leader on an issue, quite frankly. I mean, the Republican Party has an opportunity now to get back in the game, and we appreciate the Democrats for making that possible. Without them, we would be out of the game.

If President Obama had went to the middle and did all the things he said he would do in the campaign, we’d probably be toast. But he has not.

You know, I know bipartisanship when I see it. You pay a price for it. There has been no bipartisanship. The stimulus package was Karl Rove politics; pick a few Republicans off, call it bipartisan.

GREGORY: Is Sarah Palin also a leader of this party?

GRAHAM: Absolutely. I think Huckabee, Palin, Mitt Romney, John McCain -- because he’s the most recognizable public, public figure as a Republican, because he ran for president with a good approval rating -- congressional leaders. A guy like me who’ll try to find common ground on the issue on immigration.

You know, one thing long-term about this party, the demographic changes in this country are real. We lost ground with Hispanic voters because of the way we behaved and the things we said on immigration.

Graham is on ‘’Meet the Press’’ so often they might as well make him the “Republicna” host, not that he is much of a Republican. He does vote right occasionally. I don’t watch the show, however, with or without Graham. The purpose of Lindsey Graham is to make Strom Thurmond look better.

Lindsey is the new John McCain. He votes conservatively just enough to make it plausible that he's a not a DINO, but really he just trades on stabling his own party in back. That's the only reason he's even acknowledged by the MSM.

There is no point in watching the Sunday morning political shows. All they do is raise blood pressure and irritate. Anything worthwhile said will be featured on the radio talk shows anyway. Spending time with your family or doing something productive (emailing your representatives for instance) is better IMHO.

Is it my imagination or has Mr. Steele been seen or heard from lately? Just asking. Seems to me he's missing a lot of opportunities to speak up and out - and his name hasn't been on any TV or radio talk show list that I know of.
