MoveOn.org, the liberal advocacy group, is threatening to run ads against North Carolina Sen. Kay Hagan if she does not support President Barack Obama’s health care plan.
Justin Ruben, executive director of MoveOn.org said the group was prepared to “run ads in North Carolina and DC asking that she advocate for the public option and support the president in truly solving the nation’s health care crisis,” Rob Christensen reports
“Given recent comments showing that Senator Hagan is not supporting the public health insurance option, MoveOn.org will be making clear that our 115,000 members in North Carolina -- many of whom volunteered for or donated to her campaign last year -- believe the public option is the heart of true health care reform,” Ruben said in a statement.

Well well, since I’m a NC resident I’m glad to see Hagan isn’t supporting this.
This should be taken as a badge of honor. If I was Hagan, I would simply release a statement saying “I am proud that the far-left group MoveOn.org opposes my decision not to support the President’s disastrous government-run health-care plan.” As if MoveOn.org will support Hagan anyway even if she does support the bill.
I just finished reading Liberal Fascism by Jonah Goldberg, and the more I see of politics in the era of Obama, the more I see fascism... and the uglier kind—not the kind Goldberg predicted would smother us in a maternal hug. Though the hugging is there too.

Yeah, how come Republicans like to distance themselves from anything that may be perceived as far right but the Democrats have no prolems associating with MoveOn, ACORN, William Ayers, Code Pink etc.?
Nurse Ratchett will call into the Dem run city hall to find out which party you are registered in. If she finds out you’re a Republican - pull the plug.
