Ping!
There was a time when the Dutch and English wore shoes with turned up toes...
A puff piece article on Dear Leader. Reminds me of someone.
He realized even with platform elevator shoes he was the shortest guy in the room so he finally gave up pretending.
Diabetic foot trouble?
Yes, there’s something important happening in North Korea, and that hell-hole of a totalitarian society (and our own unwillingness to do ugly things) prevents us from doing more than looking at pictures of shoes. The bluster, the activity of the sons & generals, Kim’s apparent health issues - they all point to somthing happening to the leadership structure at the same time as they expand and comercialize their nuclear & missile capabilities, all in the middle of an economic crisis that is severaly stressing Japan, China, Russia and South Korea.
Interesting times.
I’d recognize that “OK, you three, screw in that light bulb” photo on the right ANYWHERE!

Kim is said to suffering from diabetes and to have difficulty walking due to peripheral neuropathy. Hence the comfortable, well cushioned sneakers.
