President Barack Obama has admitted he has not completely given up smoking.

Despite signing the toughest anti-tobacco bill in over 25 years, he confirmed that he still lights up – but never in front of daughters Malia and Sasha.
"There are times where I mess up," Mr Obama said at a White House news conference. "As a former smoker I constantly struggle with it. Have I fallen off the wagon sometimes? Yes. Am I a daily smoker, a constant smoker? No. I don't do it in front of my kids. I don't do it in front of my family," he said.

Mr Obama refused to say how many cigarettes he smokes or how often he lights up in the White House.

Doesn’t bother me. I said during the campaigns that I think it’s a non-issue. All other things being equal given the choice between a smoker and a drunk I’ll take the smoker every time.
I guess he’d really rather walk a mile for a camel...one with smooth taste and one with four legs.

I could care less if he smokes. For me, it actually humanizes him a little. But it does show what a hypocrite he is with this tobacco bill.
Do as I say, not as I do. Typical democrat.

So he only smokes when no one is looking. What did J.C. Watts say about “character”?
But he almost certainly does smoke in a Federal building so I suppose that makes hime a law breaker.
When he sneaks out for a butt, it’s maybe a five minute break for America - imagine if they had a photo of GWB puffing on a Marlboro.
To accentuate our lesson in modern consciousness-raising:
1) when a liberal is a racist, it isn’t racism
2) when a liberal is a hypocrite, it isn’t hypocrisy
3) when a liberal cheats in marriage, and lies, even under oath, it doesn’t rise to the level
4) when a liberal tries to buy a Senate seat, he gets to stay in Congress
The MSM will dutifully honor these exemptions

Would you buy a used car from this man?
Will he sue when he needs a new set of lungs?
Will he deny himself the transplant if he’s “elderly” when the cancer eats his lungs, reasoning that maybe he’ll better off if he just takes the painkillers instead of the surgery?
But plebes must NOT ask him about it—even struggled-with-it-themselves ex-smoker plebes.

I don’t care that the POTUS smokes and drinks, what I don’t like is when he drinks before he gets up and gives speeches, like the TV + Radio Correspondents dinner recently, where he LAUGHS at his own jokes as he says them. That is so embarrassing. It allows me to think he can’t believe that he, a simpleton beyond belief, is actually in the position he is in to be doing all of these things.
No kidding. Who cares if he smokes? I don’t care. Just don’t do it in my Oval Office. But I don’t buy this about him being a “former smoker”. A smoker is a smoker. Don’t try to lie your way out of this.
