The Administration is claiming that because you elected them to office last November, you gave them permission to act outside the parameters of the U.S. Constitution! Each and every time a reporter asks why Mr. Obama is pushing for the Nationalization of the private auto-industry, private health care, our private banks, private energy through “Cap and Tax” that most Americans do not support and his reply is” “the people wanted changed and elected me President!”
America, let’s send President Barack Obama and the rest of his Administration a very loud, clear and impressive message, as only the governed can: Let us all go on a National strike and we will see who he thinks will be paying for all of his social programs, since he is now counting on you, me, our children, and grand children to work our tails off for the rest of our lives to pay for this massive government takeover of our lives, our private businesses, and now our private health care, while allowing illegal aliens to enter our Country; eat from its bread basket for free; get free education for their children while we face decisions on how we will pay for our basic necessities of life as we sit by and watch our private property taxes go up and up. The illegal’s are provided free the best and most advanced health care in the world and no one is allowed to question their legal status, no, that would violate their civil rights, Rights not even afforded to an American!

Let’s shut down the flow of our money to the government! We will start with a shot across the bow of our elected officials, just to get their attention and remind them, THEY WORK FOR US!
First shot: for three (3) days, let every American in the United States of America refrain from doing the following:
Do not go to work for three (3) days starting on July 4th, 2009 in both celebration of our God given independence. So July 4, 5, and 6, 2009 no one goes to work. Make any excuse you have to, but, so not go to work under any circumstance!
• Do not buy anything for three (3) days! July 4, 5, and 6, 2009!
• Business owners, please close your shops for three days July 4, 5, and 6, 2009! Remember, we all have to make sacrifices! This is a little sacrifice compared to the lives our American Brothers and Sisters have given in the past with the very lives!
• Hit the streets in your community and protest this out of control government, local, State and Federal! Remind them that they work for us and the government spending must end or they will be looking for another job real soon.
• Email, fax, write letters to your elected representatives, talk to your neighbors and help each other to understand what is going on and how to defeat this takeover of our Country.
We will see how well this works and whether a second (14 days, two (2) Week Strike) or even a third shot (30 days, four (4) Week Strike) will be required. We can and will bring this out of control and insane Administration to its knees real quick, failure is not an option!
Please forward this email on to everyone on your email list and let them know that you will be supporting this American National Strike on July 4, 5, and 6, 2009, and kindly ask them to participate. Let this Administration know that we are mad as hell and we are not going to take this anymore, but, more importantly, remind this Administration who really possesses the power, strength and force that will guide this great nation through this blatant attack upon our “Republic.” We live in the greatest Nation on God’s earth and it did not get that way through our government, instead, it is the people who made this Country great! Let’s do it again and make our forefathers proud of us, by showing we stand with them and for what they stood for; many who gave their very lives in support of!

July 4 is too soon for the message to get out. The Tea parties should call for a national strike. This would bring attention to the Tea Parties, their message, and an actual strike.

I think the suggestion to announce this at a Tea Party is best and do it late July.
We turned off direct TV and told em why also. Dropped subscriptions to papers and magazines that promote socialist agendas.
We support local Mom an Pop buisnesses instead of great wall of mart chains.
Conservatives need to do it all. Every day when possible. Been mowing lawns locally for extra cash. Averaged ten lawns a day for first an third weeks of each month thus far. I get off work an can get em done by 9pm.

I am a business owner. If I close 3-5 July, my busiest weekend of the year, I will go broke. My 6, hardworking, loyal American employees will also go broke. I will lose durrent and future business because my customers will question my ability to remain open and serve them. My employees will desert me for something more reliable.

For this to be effective in any way, those tax "revenues" (aka theft) need to be removed PERMANENTLY from the government. That involves changes in one's lifestyle: stop smoking (cigarette taxes), permanently eliminate all unnecessary car trips (gas taxes), reduce consumer spending (sales taxes), reduce (or shelter) your income (income taxes), stop watching lapdog media channels (cut ratings of commie-symp MSM), and so on.
Until folks are willing to do these types of things, the types of actions that were suggested will be meaningless.

I work with people that won’t burn a vacation day to go to a weekday protest because they are saving it for Christmas. CTOCS says that he won’t risk a couple days profits because his competitors won’t do it first. Some are worried about getting on a “list” (like we aren’t already).
Everyone complains, but no one is willing to rise up and complain in terms the government will listen to. We’re all still too comfortable, with too much to lose. Once Obama/Pelosi are done with us, we’ll be much more motivated to show the same courage as they showed in the Polish shipyards, Tianenmen Square, Tehran, or at Lexington and Concord.
A few years of food rationing, water hours, sporadic electric service, and walking to work and school, we’ll all be lean and hungry...and ready to risk what little we have left to depose the tyrants in DC.
A 3 day shopping strike is not going to get noticed anyway. Stop buying stuff now and don’t buy again until we have our country back. Buy what you need, but skip the luxuries. Learn to make-do with less, because Obamunism is going to do it whether you’re ready or not!
Sounds like a great plan, jumping through the government hoops as they keep placing them in front of you yet, this will not force the government to surrender the powers they usurped from the people! Remember, 1/3 actually fought the British in the Revolutionary War for our freedoms that we all enjoy today! 1/3 actually supported the British and another 1/3 of Americans did not care one way or the other!
In order for a National Strike to really bite, Americans are going to have to decide, peacefully strike and force the government to relinquish the power they took from the people and operate under the authority of the US Constitution, or prepare for a violent and bloody revolution, because there are Americans who will refuse to live under this kind of socialism with the governments jackboot on their necks!
The choice is peacefully strike against this out of control and insane government or armed revolution later. There is not other choice, unless you are conformtable with the government robbing you to pay those Americans, and illegals who do not work and pay any taxes, giving them a free ride, and setting up the United Nations to prosecute Americans who violate the world environmental laws, etc.
The choice is yours of course!

We don’t even have to wait to vote out Obama. Just vote out congress. Then we can put all the unspent stimulus money back in the treasury, undo the socialism, and treat Obama like we did Clinton post ‘94.
You may think I’m tilting at windmills, but that is the only way it is going to get done. Morris, Gingrich, and others have said repeatedly that the only (and best) thing the Republicans can do right now is nothing. Let Obama/Pelosi dig their own graves. Less than one year into his administration and already, over half the country is pissed at the dictatorial policies being implemented.
The people WILL rise up. But at the voting booth, not the armory.

The “elections” of 2010/2012 will be about as legitimate as the ones in Iran or Venezuela. We need to take it to the streets now, even if its just practice for the real protests in 2010.
Because, right now, conservatives don’t know how to protest. We’ll do it, if it fits our schedule, and doesn’t cost us much, and has convenient parking, and the speakers aren’t too radical, and the list goes on and on.
Even the ones that show up don’t understand solidarity. People were arguing over the FairTax at the Tea Party I attended in April. The purpose of a protest is to show solidarity to your enemies, not to find the one issue that your own group doesn’t agree on and argue over it! It was embarrassing.
The good thing is that Obama/Pelosi ignore our protests and ridicule them so they’ll keep on digging their own graves even as we are learning and writing our own Rules for Radicals. Most modern Americans are herd animals. When they see OUR herd on TV, they’ll join us.
If we don’t have a herd for them to join by next summer, they’ll just join the Obamunist herd again.
And if our herd is strong enough, maybe the Republican Party will even join us!!

My point was that doing it only for 3 days is a useless gesture — the government’s money stream needs to be cut off permanently in order to send the message that you’ve advocated.

I think all the investigations and prosecutions of the ACORN types is beginning to resonate. Fair (reasonably) elections are still possible in this country. I think the Black Panther thing was a “Philly” anomaly.
And, whose to say that we can’t do the same thing that ACORN is doing? By that I mean “legitimately” get people registered and to the polls. The challenge is that we have to get X% more voters to the polls than the Y% fraudulent voters the Dems turn out.

The tea parties (yes, I went to one too) seem to be resonating. Even if only Fox News is covering them, they are getting a lot of coverage. Doing the same thing on the 4th of July weekend sounds like a good thing. However, they do no good if the Dems are able to get them cancelled (like in Atlanta). Show up anyway. That’s what a protest is.
If we advocate a violent or armed protest, people are going to get maimed or killed. The Dems and their pet puppy, the MSM, will just further brand us as a bunch of kooks and anti-American radicals. We need legitimacy, not scorn.
The elections of 1994 woke up America. The same can happen in 2010/2012. As I said earlier, Obama and Pelosi/Reid are hanging themselves. With a strong enough candidate and some solid leadership in Congress, we can make this happen.
