They’re down because the southwest monsoon has kicked in - seas get really rough, small boat ops are really pretty impossible. The spate of attacks was between monsoons when the sea is calm.

There's no way this vacation will not end in disappointment. If I'm paying about $7000 a day the pirates better charming, swashbuckling, semi-drunk, sword-fighters who all look like Johnny Depp. But they don't.

I can see cooler boats at the Bass Pro Shop. And they have free fudge.
