"California is home to the largest manufacturing belt in the United States..."
...and with the worst regulations in the US against manufacturing. So the free traitors are lying. What's new?

It isn't California alone.
I'm in Illinois and NOBODY-NOPLACE has anymore corrupt/arrogant/liberal/dim-witted egomaniacs than we have here in 0-land!

Look at the economy of all those “blue” states, and especially those run by the National Socialist Party (aka Democratic Party. They all deserve whatever they get. They wanted change. Now live with it!

I am. After all of the bureaucrat hags and corporate hags are out of work, I'll start making parts for customers to build the new patriarchy. So teachers, clerks, officials, managers, keep spending, while we're not buying! ;-)

Liberal freaks destroyed Cali and are fanning out across America to destroy it, too. Ba$tards! I wish we could lock them within its borders to let them sink with it.

Arnuld and his lap-dog Rinos have been a disaster. Let the whole damned state crash.

Not many, if any of this current crop of cowards in Sacramento will endure the coming scrutiny, Mmmm, maybe they'll all quit. Oh. that would show us.

California has the 3rd lowest # of employees per 10000 population of all states. The 6th lowest of all states when you also add local government employees to the totals. The problem is that there are some employees that are overpaid and some who get outrageous pensions. This, however, does not apply to the majority of state employees. Unfortunately, the dems have controlled this state for years and the voters have approved expensive bonds. Billions are being spent on iilegal aliens. I remember seeing an article a few years ago where the state paid out several million dollars for university professors that had sexually harrased students.

Can you source (and date) this for us? I find it very, very hard to swallow.

Indeed, in addition to the offshore drilling ban, California is proud to have the “thoughest” environmental regulations in the country, if not the world. But their regulations drive industry out, even before taxation does. We can all have the same regulations as California, and see ALL our jobs go to China and India.
And we will, if the ‘Rats stay in office. Anyone think we won’t have either an EPA global warming regulation or a global warming bill from Congress? That started in California, too!

Sadly, we’ll see more of the same, even if the ‘Rats don’t stay in office. That’s why I’ve been advocating against buying anything that we don’t really need for a few years. ...little, buying, little revenues. Get more self-sufficient. It’s the only way, IMO.

Over 38000 California state employees earn six figure salaries. Adding in the many tens of thousands employed at six figure salaries by California cities and counties (figures also available at the same web page -- the city of San Jose has 2700 six-figure employees, including many regular police officers and firefighters) and you get just a hint of the scale of the problem. We have a winner. That also means a lot more pension and health care obligations are in the pipeline. Here's where it stands today on that front:
5,115 retired California government workers receive pensions in excess of $100,000 from CalPERS. They're all listed here."

I like your username, BTW. 45-70’s a good round for reloading with cast bullets, according to the ballistics info. I might get one after playing with the Blackhawk in .45 colt for a while longer.

What is it they say? As goes California, so goes the nation? California is exactly what America will look like when Obama gets done.

Never in the history of this country have we had so many national disgraces in office. Theyre arrogant, theyre corrupt, theyre ego maniacs, and most of them arent worthy of being called Americans, IMO. Amen! And that's on a national level not just California!
