Good Morning America's Diane Sawyer popped up on Sunday's Reliable Sources and swore that ABC's much-scrutinized health care special with President Obama "won't be an infomercial." She also seriously touted the objectivity of the network, cheering, "I know that our network has worked very, very hard to be completely-completely responsible and fair and serious about big issues."

I still say there is a HUGE opportunity for FoxNews Channel to run a special over two nights with all the critics ABC will not allow. the 2nd night can show clips of the ABC special, which would then be refuted by experts.

Program ABC stations out of your TV and/or Cable/Satellite system.
If our forefathers could forego their morning cup of tea as a protest, surely we can muster the fortitude to give up “The View” and “ABC World News with Charles Gibson.”

It ought to be illegal. To present only his version of the health bill ... just like all his other promises ... he will change his mind and do exactly whatever he wants ... and it isn't good. Also Obama does not have to pay for the air time.

Letterman is learning this lesson the hard way, note the number of sponsors that have dropped ad campaigns during his show. Okay, so there won't be any commercial breaks during this infomercial, (sorry, Di, no other way to categorize it), but that doesn't mean that ABC isn't immune from losing sponsors if enough heat is put on, especially those that pay for time during World News Tonight and Steffi's show, (c'mon, having him interview his former boss and I'm supposed to believe that it was fair and impartial??!).
ABC needs to learn Letterman's lesson here.

Well, I was worried about this situation. Thought that it looked like journalistic malpractice. Poor judgement on ABC's part. Just bad all-around.
But since Diane Sawyer - a paid flack for ABC - says that "It's OK"...well, then I guess it's OK. Nothing to see here, move along.

It is not an infomercial. ABC News does not do that. We will be there, and these people in this room are going to be able to ask questions from every single vantage point. And they are going to challenge the President, many of them.
I think ABC should release the names of these people who are basically representing the American people in that "town hall" meeting. I want to know WHO they are and WHAT they do.
Of course they believe their own crap. Since they crap it, why not?

Just like her new report about the second amendment and how fair that was...was it 60 minutes? All she could talk about is how self defense is not possible because none of could do that without hurting someone innocent...
