Whenever a dictatorship is near falling there are only a few limited options for the dictator:
1. Institute a brutal crackdown, and murder a substantial fraction of your subjects in hopes that the survivors will be cowed into submission.
2. Die. Usually in a very unpleasant and humiliating fashion.
3. Seek sanctuary in another country.
Even the likes of self-admitted cannibal Idi Amin was able to find a country that would accept him.
Should the mad mullahs of Iran be backed into a corner they will turn even more vicious. Sun Tzu recognized that putting an enemy in this position was dangerous, and wisely counseled allowing him some means or hope of escape.
Who do the mullahs have that will accept them and their virulent islamist theology?
Since they have created, funded or sponsored so much havoc in the middle east, surely they are not safe in any country in the area.
Perhaps Barak Obama will offer Iran and the mullahs a safety valve? It would be something meaningful that he could do to promote peace in the middle east...

Well, you can't have that, but if you're an American citizen resident you are entitled to:
a heated kidney shaped pool,
a microwave oven--don't watch the food cook,
a Dyna-Gym--I'll personally demonstrate it in the privacy of your own home,
a king-size Titanic unsinkable Molly Brown waterbed with polybendum,
a foolproof plan and an airtight alibi,
real simulated Indian jewelry,
a Gucci shoetree,
a year's supply of antibiotics,
a personally autographed picture of Randy Mantooth and Bob Dylan's new unlisted phone number,
a beautifully restored 3rd Reich swizzle stick,
Rosemary's baby,
a dream date in kneepads with Paul Williams,
a new Matador, a new mastodon,
a Maverick, a Mustang, a Montego,
a Merc Montclair, a Mark IV, a meteor,
a Mercedes, an MG, or a Malibu,
a Mort Moriarty, a Maserati, a Mac truck,
a Mazda, a new Monza, or a moped,
a Winnebago--Hell, a herd of Winnebago's we're giving 'em away,
or how about a McCulloch chainsaw,
a Las Vegas wedding,
a Mexican divorce,
a solid gold Kama Sutra coffee pot,
or a baby's arm holding an apple?

They would probably be welcome into Russia though after a brutal 30 years I’d bet there are many Iranians who would rather see them all meet a bullet.

I suspect that Obama could plead with Indonesia to take the ayatollahs when they’re exiled. Someplace near a beach, where they can view the western tourists lounging on the beach shingles, in bikinis.

We could make the mullahs our new “Prison Czars,” where they could bring enlightenment to our flawed people.
