It killed Herschenson. He was running somewhat ahead in the polls and tanked in the two or three days after the revelations. Of course the Old Media ran them 24/7.
And allegations of immorality hurt conservatives more than they hurt dems. Noone expects moral behavior out of dems.

I used to live in LA many years ago. I have been in the seventh veil. It’s not something I’m proud of. But it’s really raunchy. I don’t remember any g-strings with which he might have been festooned, if you know what I mean. Lap dances extra. I can’t imagine a double-date there.
Regardless, it was enough to tank him in the few days before the election. And that’s how Boxer got in the Senate. Since then, CA has moved hard left. She’s Senator for life unless there is a political earthquake.

You speak to superiors by using the title sir or ma'am.
Obviously Boxer was correct, she should be addressed by senator as she is inferior (imo) to everyone except satan.
She brought it on herself, the Brigadier General must have smiled inside at her pompous self degradation of her position.
