GERALD WALPIN All I know is that what was done was wrong, and it was done, I think, to send a chilling message to all inspectors general that they should not touch any hot topics.
LOU DOBBS: Not to touch any hot topics, by which-
WALPIN: I mean topics that may be close to somebody who is at the pinnacle of power.
(Excerpt) Read more at newsbusters.org ...
We need Walpin to stay strong.
Go get ‘em Lou!
Not to mention, among the living as well.
You bet. Now EVERYONE will want to be an inspector general in the federal government. Hah!
Remember how steamed the Democrats got when GWB fired a handful of US Attorneys? Al though that was completely within his authority to do so?
This deal with the IGs is a mite of a difference given the law on it.
But is Mr. Obama being excoriated about it by the press. Nope. All of those great Americans voted for him because they felt guilty.
Guilty is not a reason to vote for someone - but that’s what happened. And look what we got. God’s gift to himself. Oy.

It's good to see American make so much "progress." Pretty soon, necklacing might even come into vogue.
Walpin aint going away Obambi!
It took Bush 6 years to get to where 0bama is after only 6 months.
This guy is going to be easy to take down.
I keep waiting for the dirt on Walpin to appear even if they have to make it up.
The AARP needs some FReeping on this issue.
Maybe we should contact 0bama’s concubine news outlets and ask for more investigation into the Walpin firing?
The AARP has an office in the same funeral home as ACORN HQ in New Orleans. I doubt the AARP is going to be very concerned.
The White House Counsel broke the law. Is that going to be tolerated?
HATS off to Dobbs for asking the correct questions...and to Walpin for making certain they were clearly stated. Dobbs better be careful he’ll be added to the FOXem list.
WALPIN: I mean topics that may be close to somebody who is at the pinnacle of power.
DOBBS: Or embarrassing specifically to the President or his friends.
WALPIN: That’s right.
DOBBS: Well, what is the next step here, in your best estimate?
WALPIN: I don’t know what will happen, but I am asking obviously that the public know about it and I’d love to see Congress engage in an investigation and a hearing so that all the facts could come out.
DOBBS: Well, responding in that direction, Congressman Darryl Issa, Senator Chuck Grassley, Senator Claire McCaskill, a good friend and supporter of the President, the first to take up support of the law in your behalf, and it will be a story that I assure you we will be following here. We appreciate it.
Lou Dobbs isn’t that bad but if you watch his show you’ll notice they really cut down on his opportunities to editorialize. Jack Cafferty on the other hand...
STAND FOR SOMETHING OR YOU WILL SURELY FALL FOR ANYTHING!!!
DOING THE RIGHT THING ISN'T ALWAYS EASY...BUT IT IS ALWAYS RIGHT!!!!!
YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION AND A GREAT AMERICAN!!!
WALPIN: The corporation, which is the agency involved, rejected them without explaining why the findings and facts. And these are findings and facts made by long-time public servants in my office.
DOBBS: Well, Senator, Senator Chuck Grassley has sent the White House our list of 12 specific questions. Do you believe that there are other political motivations at work here?
WALPIN: I don't want to speculate. All I know is that what was done was wrong, and it was done, I think, to send a chilling message to all inspectors general that they should not touch any hot topics.
DOBBS: Not to touch any hot topics, by which-
WALPIN: I mean topics that may be close to somebody who is at the pinnacle of power.
DOBBS: Or embarrassing specifically to the President or his friends.
WALPIN: That's right.
Tyranny and disregard for our laws.
Indeed, but this seems like an inside Obama job of creating false dissent. We’ll see how it develops. The Clinton years were filled with such strange trial balloons, suits, propagandas etc... all going nowhere.
In chess it’s called wasting your oponent’s moves and dispersing its forces. We need a definite unambiguous case which ultimately will coagulate of its own away from the propaganda drum beat or generalities we hear.
For what it’s worth, liberals still think they are more alike this guy and foreigners. Their self hate mindset is the only “personality” they ever got in college. Where one thinks he is boss it’s where he’s at.
This is why anarchists are hypocrite anarchists, because they know they rule during the “unrule”. Many narcissisms and political rule remain out there at the expense of a no-nonsense litterate panel of the WHOLE situation, and not just Obama.
The nation is in danger of attack.
I was at a tourist attraction in Colorado this week and there was an elderly couple behind me. The woman was telling another tourist that someone had asked her how she could travel with a recession on, and she said, “What recession? I get my money from the government, there’s no recession for me. And Obama just gave me a $250 check.”
I think we see the AARP mentality in action with this one.
Baraq Hussein Obamadinejad
I’m 44 and they’re hounding me already. My mother refuses to join.
This is a story that goes to the character of Obama and his minions.
Of course, they have none, which we already knew.
But perhaps this story will wake up others. The power of the presidency being focused on the personal destruction of an individual citizen tends to focus one’s attention.
Not just IGs also civil servants of all pay scales, contractors, MSM employees, everyone and anyone.
Such is the way 1960s Marxist-Alinsky street rabble (and their ideological issue, BHO is one) work. They are "the Establishment" now.
It helps if Chicago thug-politics also play a role. to wit, "a high-ranking Clinton official had ordered [a GS employee] and four ... Northrop Grumman contractors to keep [the million emails] top secret. Three, including [the GS employee], testified that they were threatened with jail if they talked to even their spouses about "Project X."
The Clinton White House email scandal. I believe Rahm Emanuel was there.
Any moment now...
Lauria: Let me tell you it's no fun standing on this side of the fence opposing the President of the United States. In fact, let me just say, people have asked me who I represent. That's a moving target. I can tell you for sure that I represent one less investor today than I represented yesterday. One of my clients was directly threatened by the White House and in essence compelled to withdraw its opposition to the deal under the threat that the full force of the White House Press Corps would destroy its reputation if it continued to fight. That's how hard it is to stand on this side of the fence.

Is this in Detroit? LOL
The ACORN connection that is being uncovered is a big concern.
It was a good interview.
Did you turn around and tell them you couldn’t wait until you were a senior citizen and the taxpayers could pay for your vacations?
My 91 year old mother warned me about AARP a long time ago. For some reason they don’t contact me but they do my husband. As soon as I see their mail it goes into the trash.
Thank you for postng this!
Marked to read later..
Obama and his comrades claim Mr. Walpin was acting incoherent, I wonder if they are referring to someone like this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCwwCCQozPM
It crossed my mind and then I thought it would be elder abuse.
Personally, I can’t imagine being bought out for $250, but then, maybe some folks come cheap.
Meanwhile the so-called Fox All Stars on “Special Report Without Brit Hume” last night were naively allowing for the possibility that Walpin had acted confused in a meeting...clueless about what’s going on here.
You mean, more made up dirt? I would say calling him "confused," etc. is a pretty blatant smear attempt.
As if Obama had his act together when he mentioned 57 states, or kids getting "breathalyzer" tests.
