So, only “special” people can break the laws of our nation with impunity.

And of course, only white people can be charged with “hate” crimes.

Great, just great. No wonder that Obammy is POTUS.

We’re dooomed. Why not just surrender to La Raza and the Islamofascists right now and save a little time.

This is an example of jury nullification elevated to the municipal level. We have seen other instances of this left-wing circumvention of the federal system in San Francisco and Berkeley.

When the South attempted to assert its independence from the federal system in 1861, the feds went to war to prevent it. I doubt if the feds will even arch an eyebrow over this circumvention of federal writ.

This law has been one of my least favorite for the last few decades.

It should be entitled, “LAPD’s Special Order 40 on ILLEGAL ALIENS Upheld by Court.”

In the first place, the MSM has covered ILLEGAL ALIENS, with the figleaf of insisting on calling them IMMIGRANTS.

An IMMIGRANT is someone who comes here LEGALLY. An ILLEGAL ALIEN is someone who comes here CRIMINALLY.

IMMIGRANTS include people like Henry Kissinger, Albert Einstein, Isaac Asimov, John Kenneth Galbraith, and Vinod Dham, inventor of the Pentium and K6 series processors, to name but a very few illustrious persons.

Legal Immigrant scientists built the US missile and space programs. Legal Immigrant Scientists aided in the Manhattan Project. Legal Immigrants built Silicon Valley.

ILLEGAL Aliens have only built ghettos, and demanded that they be compensated for their criminal activity.

Time to change the wording, MSM!

Absolutely correct. Calling these people "undocumented immigrants" is like calling shoplifting an "undocumented sale."

No, this is an example of the collapse of the US Constitution. Our legal system has totally collapsed and everyone refuses to believe it. Fascism and Marxism have taken over.

I am sitting here wondering how long it is going to take for the crowd of deniers on FR to realize that the Republican Party has aided and abetted the collapse of America. They will follow them the same way the Jews in Germany did, like sheep.

I have more respect for the Iranians than I do the majority of Americans. At least they are out in the streets raising hell and refusing to let their government leaders rest saying, “Mission accomplished!” Our leaders said, “That’s was easier than we’d planned for, wasn’t it?”

Anyone who thinks our Courts are going to get us out of this mess has their head stuck between their legs.

I am is darkly pessimistic as you are. I see very little hope the our judicial system will enter the fray on behalf of the Constitution against the Obama juggernaut, almost certainly will it refrain from opposing the economic socialization of America and very little likelihood that it will intervene on behalf of of constitutional rights of the person. I lay out below three replies going back to March along the lines of your reply:

.............................................

Power is now concentrated in the same party which controls the executive branch, and the legislative branches. The third constitutionally devised institution to check power and our democracy is now giving way to the Democrat party and liberal radicalism.

So there will be no check eventually in any institution set up by our founding fathers to save us from ourselves.

What about the extra-constitutional institutions?

THE REPUBLICAN PARTY? The party is lost somewhere in the wilderness without a leader and without a compass and without any real reason to emerge. Its greatest impetus for revival comes not from within but from its enemies whose outrages are nearly enough to raise the dead. Its leadership at the committee level is hopeless. The minority rumps in both houses of Congress equally have no effective spokesman. The former presidential candidate has just blown up in front of the Hispanic world. The vice presidential candidate has been cut out from the herd and left to fend for herself against the ravening pack. Governor Jindal has made a fool of himself and his television debut. Mitt Romney is still in danger of falling between two stools as he straddles the left right divide in the party. Yet, the times are so parlous that any minute now some spark can ignite the tender and a real party could emerge.

THE MEDIA? We all are aware that this is under assault by the left which seeks to silence talk radio through the device of establishing local "Soviets" to intimidate owners. Rush Limbaugh has received a deed of leadership from the Democrats which remains his by default until a real leader emerges. Meanwhile, among the independents, who decide elections, and Democrats, Limbaugh has been demonized. The left has from time to time mooted the idea of controlling the Internet. That leaves Fox news on television and a couple of opinion journals together with the editorial page of the Wall Street Journal. Even a healthy and robust conservative media would find it a daunting task to check and balance a runaway national government - but we do not have such a media.

THE CHURCHES? The national Council of churches which I attended as a lad has now been subverted into a virtual coven of leftism. The Roman Catholic Church is riven by the faithful versus elitists, a discord which muffles its voice. That dichotomy has recently been displayed in the reaction to the elitists of Notre Dame inviting a bloodthirsty abortionist to deliver a commencement address and receive an honorary degree. The Jewish community has yet to wake up to the existential fate which beckons Israel from an Obama administration, largely because of the secularization of that community. I see no salvation in this area (profound apologies for the pun), unless one's sees rescue coming from Islam.

THE EDUCATION ESTABLISHMENT? No comment required.

THE ELEEMOSYNARY INSTITUTIONS? Within this rubric should be considered not just Rockefeller and Ford foundations but the very scary Machiavellian tentacles of George Soros and his subordinate entities which act quite directly to subvert the electoral process. Whether a conventional foundation like Rockefeller or a devious group like a move on.org, there is no such institution to speak of which would give hope that a runaway government might be discouraged.

THE STATES IN A FEDERAL SYSTEM? States' rights died when my great-grandfather surrendered and walked home from Appomatox. The history of the United States since then has been one long history of the engrossment of the federal government at the expense of the states. Brave gestures by Governor's Jindal and Palin and others to decline the federal government's pieces of silver to the contrary, there is no hope to be found here.

Soon the federal court system will be thoroughly contaminated. This does not just mean that abortion will flourish and taxes will rise, it means a perversion of the rule of law, it means the onset of the rule of men and not the rule of law, it means the legalization of the cult of personality, it means the erosion of the Bill of Rights, it means loss of sovereignty and democracy and the imposition of transnational "justice."

............................................

"You're doing a hell of a job, Brownie. "

Father or son, Souter or Brownie, these are the consequences of governing by cronyism. George H. W. Bush consults Chief of Staff, John Sununu, and appoints a closet leftist to the United States Supreme Court. (I think he was persuaded by Senator Warren Rudman if memory serves.) His son consults Heaven knows whom and appoints Harriet Myers.

This is the danger of people like the Bushes and John McCain governing from what they consider to be right principles and shared values and good pedigrees rather than a firm conservative philosophy.

.........................................................

The facts of this appointment are easy to state: the president has selected as his first judicial appointment an ideologue who was been reprimanded for abuse of discretion by the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. The American Bar Association has rated Judge Hamilton to be "not qualified," a negative rating almost never resorted to by the American Bar Association especially with reference to a Liberal appointee.

Hamilton's reported decisions betray a hostility to the exercise of the Christian religion and an unsettling fastidiousness to preserve abortion rights.

It is clear that the President of the United States, in making his first judicial appointment, has chosen ideology over all other considerations. Anyone familiar with Obama's history of zealously protecting abortion glaringly illuminated by an incomprehensible failure to protect babies who miraculously survived botched abortions, should not be surprised that this has occurred.

If any reader is unsettled in mind whether Barak Obama is an earnest but misguided liberal as opposed to a committed radical Marxist, this appointment should prove highly probative for the second choice. At the very least it demonstrates that to understand Obama you need not worry about whether he is a narcissist, you need only study his ideology. Culminating in this appointment, Obama has done nothing, repeat nothing, repugnant to what his biography tells us about the man: he is a Manchurian Marxist. This appointment I take to be a confirmation of the judgment which many of us made prior to the election. It is disquieting because it raises questions about whether facts on the ground will deter Obama from fulfilling his ideological destiny. In other words, are we to live out Obama's own version of Mein Kampf? Will he persist until Gotterdammerung?

An acolyte of the Saul Alinsky method would be expected to conform his actions to fit the circumstances: when possible, attack when necessary, withdraw. So far Obama has shown not the slightest disposition to withdraw anywhere but, thanks to a complaisant media, he has not yet faced any pushback strong enough to qualify as a test.

Until Obama surprises, I see no reason to depart from the judgment that the man is determined to dismantle the America we had hoped to pass on to our children. If I am wrong, some unexpected event will demonstrate the real character of Barak Obama and relieve me of my anxieties.

Meanwhile, the drama now turns toward the United States Senate and the Republican rump who will choose either virtue or politics as usual. I have no doubt that Lindsey Graham will soon make the choice plain.

I agree with every word. The Republican Party is corrupt from top to bottom, no more and no less than the Democratic Party is. They both are in line with the beliefs of the Socialist Party. Our elected leaders have chosen Communism as the future for America children.

When Zero had his private meeting with Justice Roberts I knew there was no way the Supreme Court was going to open a hearing for Orly Tatz or any of the others who were trying to maintain our country through the use of the Courts.

The fact that not a single elected Rep stood up and demanded Zero’s birth certificate told me that the top management had said to Be Silent on the issue.

I don’t see any cohesive resistance against the Feds from the media. Glenn Beck is the only nationally recognized person tolerated to regularly speak out on the issue. Rush could do something but I guess he has been warned to be silent about the COLB.

If Americans don’t clean out their City Halls and State Congresses we’re done for. Since I don’t hear any stirrings to do that, my assumption is that we’re already wearing SOLD tags on our backs.

Why the churches aren’t speaking about it is anybodies guess.

Are we all supposed to grab our guns, water, butter, bread, and children and head for the hills?

Where are the real solutions offered for what ails our Nation?

Somebody has been voting for these a$$holes.

Now I gotta wait til next year to scribble on a page in order to (possibly) invoke change while meanwhile back at the state house the slime whom my neighbors prefer to vote for are destroying this Commonwealth & our Nation.

I sure hope that posterity knows how to fight.

I'll be working on training them for it.

The answer is for groups of people to descend on their local politicians and demand special elections. Then move up one step and demand special elections for state officials and judges.

Only elect people who say they will protect the Constitution and individual rights 24/7. Make sure they understand the difference between free trade, fascism, communism, socialism and democracy.

I can’t agree more. The Republican Party has left its core conservative values behing years ago. For the most part Republican politicians are more concerned about saving their jobs than voting on principle. Vote Constitution Party you’ll sleep better.
