It passed Prosper about 20+ minutes ago. Her rain cloud was called E6. Mine was Z9...good rain.

My crop out west got a good rain too.

Had my chance at “spotter in the field”. The lowering was not rotating as it went directly overhead, the winds were another matter.

I live in Flower Mound, but I am out of town, been talking to my family. It was real scary, a few tiles were blown off our roof, but the worst has past, Thank God.

I’m sure we will find a lot of downed trees around our area.

I have the Dallas Stars to think, since I went to the Dallas News site because I heard Dave Tippett was fired, I saw right away that there were tornado warnings, and I called home and gave them the heads up.

Work should be. Your favorite shade trees may not. Spotters reporting trees up to 18” diameter are down.

We’ve lost one tree. Will inspect the rest when it’s less wet.

Lost my fence, all of it

Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

I need to replace my fence (HOA even sent me a dirty letter)and then last week a moving van ran a stop sign and hit my neighbor's car and then took out his fence, he couldn't have been happier, he was showing off his new truck over the weekend while I watched his new fence being put in. 5 feet to the left and he would still be driving his old truck and looking at my new fence.

Wowee! I just drove right through that mess. I spent the last 90 minutes dodging tree branches blowing across six lanes of traffic, 18-wheelers going wheels-up, and debris flying all around. I also saw a house burning like a bonfire, presumably after taking a lightning hit. It was a bit dicey there for a minute, I’ll admit, but once again Guardian Angel was on the ball, and I’m safe at home now. It was a real white-knuckler there for a few minutes, though!

Looks like it is feeding slowly north and quickly to the east.

I am on the tail end now. Some good lighting strikes but, it was bad here. The cells with wind and hail split around us AGAIN whew..
