OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - A Nebraska doctor says he'll perform third-term abortions in Kansas after the slaying of abortion provider George Tiller, even though Tiller's clinic is closed.
Dr. LeRoy Carhart declined to discuss details with The Associated Press on Wednesday, a day after Tiller's family announced his Wichita clinic was permanently shutting its doors.
Carhart isn't saying whether his plans include opening a new facility or offering the abortions at an existing practice. He says such details are "something that doesn't need to be talked about" until everything is in place.

Dr. Leroy Carhart I had previously read about as the one to continue the Tiller Clinic, but then the family decided to close it.
I believe I had read he was a friend of Tiller’s.

As a young gal, I always thought of “abortions” as globs of cells, as I was taught. It wasn't until I schooled myself and did my own research, and SAW those pics, did I change my mind.
I agree. To someone who already views abortion as murder, these pictures are beyond disgusting, they’re emotionally hurtful as well. To someone like me who’s lost an unborn child, it reopens deep old wounds. No one’s going to have their mind changed by a thread that is now emotionally disrupted, but they might have heard good discussion of the issue before.
Maybe someone will cap him, too. Wouldn’t break my heart one bit.
But, once you've been "smacked", is it really necessary to keep smacking and smacking?

That will not help our side at all. This is an institution of murder, not just one man or even a group. The more abortionists who are murdered, the more sympathy they will garner. We need to take them down using their own Saul Alinsky tactics, from the inside. It’s time we give them a taste of their own medicine, and I don’t mean the homicidal kind.
I place more blame on the people actually getting the abortions than those who do the procedure.
I look at it this way, Those who are getting the abortions are the people who are pulling the trigger. The Abortion Doctor is like the Gun. The blame really lies in those getting the abortions in the first place.
Abortion Doctors don’t kill the babies, the people getting the abortions kill the babies.
You may disagree with me, but It is similar to Gun issues, when someone shoots another person in premeditated murder should we blame Smith and Wesson or Colt? No, it is the person behind the trigger, the person behind the pen signing the piece of paper in the Abortion Office who is really to blame.
Despite what I just said I don’t think much of Abortion Doctors, but to place all the blame on their shoulders ignores the bad behavior and irresponsibility on the people who come into Planned Parenthood or the abortion clinic in the first place.

I understand, but I personally will be upset if only because it was too late to turn that person away from their murderous ways and because of the hardening it will do. I’ve been fighting with libs on other boards since his murder, they think it would be a good idea to outlaw “hate speech” that includes calling abortionists murderers. Things are going to come to a bloody head if this keeps up.

No did not. Absolutely NO excuse to inflict that most evil image on unsuspecting. NO excuse.
They can watch a healthy baby moving in an ultrasound and still think it’s ok to kill him/her. No amount of images are going to change their minds. They are ghouls.
A lot of the people here are really too squeemish about what life entails.
I grew up on a farm. I know where Steak and Hamburger comes from. I have seen calves be born, I have seen the savagery of nature when an coyote ate a half of a calf on it’s way being born. Life is no Disney Cartoon, it is violence and blood and gore all mixed in with a few precious moments that make it worth living in the first place.
Seeing a dead baby doesn’t have much of an effect on me, I do feel sad at the loss of the potential caused by a selfish parent. That loss of potential should indeed be a crime. But sadly it is not a crime in this country since Roe V. Wade. Shooting abortion doctors won’t solve the issue, the issue will only be solved by people who are dedicated to changing the laws. Until then, too damn bad, work harder on changing the laws, but don’t take the law into your own hands, that undermines the effort to fix the problem in the first place.
Usually it is an ultrasound that changes their minds. That is why pro-life movements pushed so hard to have an ultrasound done BEFORE an abortion and the pro-choice movement fought it. The people in abortion clinics know that if a woman sees it in her she will know it is not a “blob of tissue” or a “mass of cells” and that may make her change her mind. They did not want that ultrasound law to go into effect.
I am not a ghoul. Those pics are what changed my mind. Those pics are what jolted me into reality. Those pics SHOWED me exactly what was being destroyed.

I see it everywhere I go. When I see a family with young children I think to myself “did they mutilate their sibling?” Blood and death are everywhere we turn. This will remain true even if you are trying not to think about it.
