At this time, I would be inclined to say it’s way too premature to be worried about NK launching a missile our way.
It’s not like you head down to WallyWorld and pick yerself up a ballistic missile inertial guidance system.
If they did try a launch against Seattle, it would be considered a blazing success if they hit Caracas, Venezuela!
You and me both, man. It would boost the odds if we flew over at night and just bombed the 12 places in the whole country that have lights on. That would probably significantly diminish the threat from their “dear leader”.

You might also want to deploy the Navy’s floating RADAR platform & get the Aegis Cruisers into position before making such a boast. Because from where I’m sitting the ONLY thing we have that might operate at a moment’s notice is the ABM Missiles up in Alaska. While they may be adequate it’s only a single line of defense. What happens if you miss?

Didn’t he say during the last test of a NK ICBM, back in April, that it wasn’t all that certain we could hit their missles? Now he is certain? I can’t remember his exact quote but he didn’t sound all that convincing then and I don’t know whether to believe him now. At any rate Bozo is cutting funding for Missile defense.
