LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - A Muslim convert charged in the killing of a soldier at a recruiting center in Arkansas says he didn't consider it murder because U.S. military action in the Middle East made the killing justified.
Abdulhakim Muhammad told The Associated Press Tuesday in Little Rock that he confessed to police that he killed Pvt. William Long outside an Army-Navy recruiting center.
But he said murder exists only "without a justified reason."

Military tribunals have different rules, and guilty parties get hanged.

It seems to me that there are two spheres of activity here. In one, the murderer gunned down a soldier and will face the legal consequences.
However, this neglects the other sphere of activity.
The fanatic was acting in the name of his religion, in a religious act, and indifferent to the legal consequences. The law truly means nothing to him.
For this reason, the fanatic *also* needs to face religious consequences as well as legal consequences. This is a difficult concept for secular westerners to understand, but an important one.
He must be stripped of his Muslim sanctimony.
There are many things a Muslim can do, or have done to them, that strips them of their righteousness by *their* rules. That denies them forever their religious goals. For many (if not all Muslims), this involves being contaminated with pork or pork products.
So his sentence, as it were, will be to somehow splash him, assault him, with pork grease. In his eyes, and the eyes of his fellow Muslims, this matters far more than even his being executed. It is an irrevocable punishment, and *importantly* has an extremely strong deterrent effect against other Muslims who contemplate other such murderous crimes.
For this reason, to save lives, it is *essential* that he be splashed with pork fat.
Only at first does this sound ludicrous. But it is deadly serious. US General “Blackjack” Pershing ended a protracted and vicious war by performing a similar act. After trying for years to conduct war in the first sphere of action, the bloody war still raged. But with a single act in the second sphere, his Muslim enemy immediately stopped hostilities.
In short, he not only needs to be splashed with pork fat, but pictures of that attack need to be widely disseminated, with the message:
“Those who murder for jihad are covered in pork fat.”
The impact of this single act will be extraordinary. The Muslim world will scream in horror that this murderer will have forfeited his soul, not that he has murdered an innocent. But it will be deeply terrifying to them. This will be obvious by their cries and protests, threats and demands.
But more than anything else, it will make the Muslim world fearful. They will fear attacking innocents, for fear that they will meet the same fate.
Pork fat could end much of this war.

I think we need a federal law that makes conviction of an armed assault upon a member of our armed forces require mandatory life without parole or the death sentence and to require all appeals to be filed within 14 days and heard within 21. That means within 70 days of conviction the appeals process would be over...and on the 71st day, the scumbag can be given a shot to guarantee he would never catch the flu.

I don’t understand why he can’t be charged w/ treason: after all, I think his actions prove that:
(1) He declared war against the US;, &
(2) He gave aid & comfort to our enemies

Have you writen your congress critter that there should be a federal law against assaulting a US Serviceman on duty?
This should not be tried in a state court, but in federal court with a quicker route the the death chamber.
Plus..when his buddies try to ransome him out of jail, he should be in a Federal pin..not state.
The suspect will be “justified” in receiving any and all due punishment once he enters the prison system.
Remember, officially, according to the commander in chief of the soldiers who were shot, this was a
“senseless act of violence”
with no larger context. No link to terrorism, no link to the Black Muslim movement, no link to Islam, etc.
Also look for the 0bama administration to cover for them, essentially giving them license to commit these acts of terror without retribution.

Just a few thoughts to chew on. The travesty is that while we as a nation and culture are in fact at war (meaning someone is going to lose); most in our nation figure only on how to make a buck or enjoy the summer... We may have already lost but for young men like the victim who was willing to put on his country's uniform, are you or yours? 23 years' AD, one daughter in USAF blue, one son in USMC digits, one at home for mom's sake.
The worst part is that this scum will be given a trial costing millions of dollars and lasting years, and then given a home in Club Fed, instead of being hung after a one-day trial.

Too easy and too quick. He needs to be castrated, then hung up by his feet, partially disemboweled while still alive, then have pig fat ground into his stomach cavity, his eyes, his nostrils, his mouth, his rectum, and the place where his genitals once were. He should be left that way until he is finally pronounced dead. Hopefully that would take many, many hours. Once he's dead, he should be cut down, cut up into multiple pieces and fed to wild pigs. His head should be removed from his body, placed on a spike, and put on display so the birds can eat away the flesh from his skull. Then auction his skull off and give the proceeds to the families of the soldiers he shot.

Well I guess if someone kills this muslim terrorist then it won’t be murder because it will be justified. Our politicians will keep insisting that they are the religion of peace however. There are some reports that they already have. You can conceal a lot under the ACU coat, which is worn untucked. :) But if the wear is officially authorized, then shoulder holsters, hip holsters or drop leg holster are all possibilities.
Wouldn't this make him either a spy, a non-uniformed combatant, or a traitor, and possibly subject to summary judgement and execution?
