A man accused of making threatening statements about killing President Obama has been arrested in Nevada, the Secret Service said Saturday.
Daniel James Murray was arrested Friday night in the parking lot of the Riverside Resort Hotel and Casino in Laughlin, Nevada, said Secret Service spokesman Malcolm Wiley.

This is the idiot who allegedly told them at his bank that he was withdrawing a large sum of money because he and others planned to kill the President of the United States.

I read about a lot of threats against President Bush on the internet. Were all those sick people arrested too?

I googled “arrested for threats on President Bush”. There were plenty, including a 14 year old who sent a threatening e-mail.

were investigated by FBI and SS?
Question 2: How many people were arrested for threats?
Question 3: How many went on trial?

I’ve thought the same thing, BUT ya have to know they would wait til the punks numbers finally tank when this economy fails to come back under his “leadership”.
I figure shortly before the 2012 elections.

If you think about it, the democrats have done this before ... think JFK. Say some white guy sends Zero to meet his virgins and lives thru the arrest. As soon as he says that he is a Republican who listens to Rush, he will die of unexplained causes. Think Jack Ruby here. And, as you say, the democrats get a two-fer; case closed and Zero gone.
These people getting arrested are all cranks and crackpots. As a former police officer and federal investigator, I’m certain that the Secret Service has already advised Obama that the one to worry about is the one who keeps his intent secret and he/she will not be known until they are discovered in an attempt, or, are actually successful in their attempt.
Look at history - Czolgoz, Oswald, Hinckley, Sarah Jane Moore. They either actually did it, or came very close to succeeding because they spoke to nobody of their specific intent.
As Kennedy said in Ft. Worth on the morning of November 22, “If someone wants to shoot me from the roof of a building there is nothing I can do to prevent it.”

I’m not certain of the context, but I believe it was in response to a comment Jackie had made about the S.S. suggesting that the removable bubble top of the limo be bolted on.
