Truthfully, this was reminding me of when the Obamas stopped in the Czech republic and chose not to meet the prime minister but rather have a dinner alone together.

The reasoning being at the time was that the Czech leader had previously publicly attacked comrade Obamsky.

Refused dinner with the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic and his wife

Carla Bruni was spectactularly beautiful when she met with Michelle. While Mrs. Obama dressed clumsily and was easily out classed by Carla.
