President Obama in his speech said " The Holy Koran teaches that whoever kills an innocent, it is as if he has killed all mankind; and whoever saves a person, it is as if he has saved all mankind."

I really find it odd that neither President Obama nor any of his advisors did not realize that the meaning of verse 5:32 is not clear until it is quoted together with verse 5:33 which follows it:

Death to the infidels is its mandate. Killing one infidel is tantamount to killing all. Similarly, saving the life of an infidel is the same as failing to kill all infidels.

As a man who was brought up under the tutelage of the Koran we can expect that his scriptural choices are fully intentional. It is inconceivable that he intended to support Israel or the US with these words.

I wonder sometimes if he a) writes the speeches himself (/s) or b) even reads the speeches before he takes the stage. You can tell that when there is a blink in the teleprompter, he has no idea where to take the speech. Careful reading of this part of even 5.032 is already very troubling. What is the definition of "spreading mischief"? Is is saying something against Islam, printing a cartoon of Mohammed, writing a book describing muslim treatment of women? It can be anything the current leadership doesn't like. Sadly, we are moving in that direction with ever increasing so-called hate crime laws.

Thank you very much. It doesn’t surprise me one bit, really. Everyone in that audience knows the true meaning of that verse. And, every Muslim in the Middle East knows that there is no way he could quote the entire passage — IMHO it’s more code-speak from Obama.

There were little bits tucked in here and there. When he was talking about working together he said “our” people, where the context makes no sense unless he truly is a Muslim. Of that, I have no doubt, and haven’t for a very long time. The truth about Obama is right there, but some choose not to see it.
