Obama seeks Saudi king's advice before Cairo speech

President Barack Obama will urge Arabs and Israelis to say publicly what they acknowledge in private about Middle East peace moves and Iran when he speaks to the Muslim world on Thursday. Obama, who visited Saudi Arabia and said he sought King Abdullah's advice before the speech to be delivered in Egypt, outlined its themes in an interview with the New York Times on Wednesday.

Obama's trip and scheduled speech in Cairo on Thursday drew condemnation from al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, who said in a taped message aired by Al Jazeera television that the U.S. leader had planted seeds for "revenge and hatred" toward the United States in the Muslim world.

Obama told the New York Times a key part of his message in Cairo would be: "Stop saying one thing behind closed doors and saying something else publicly."

"There are a lot of Arab countries more concerned about Iran developing a nuclear weapon than the 'threat' from Israel, but won't admit it," Obama told the paper.

There are a lot of Israelis, he said, "who recognize that their current path is unsustainable, and they need to make some tough choices on settlements to achieve a two-state solution -- that is in their long-term interest -- but not enough folks are willing to recognize that publicly."

Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are at odds over a push by Obama for Israel to halt Jewish settlement expansion in the West Bank. About half a million Jews live in settlements among nearly 3 million Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and Arab East Jerusalem.

Every day there's something more ... I wonder if he merely bowed or was prostrate during their meeting? Either this guy's political instincts are crap, or he doesn't give a rip what we think. Which is it?

I vote for he doesn’t give a rip what we think.

Becoming more obvious that he loves Muslims and hates whites.

In a passage from his book “Audacity of Hope” Senator Obama says he would “stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction” is an extremely troubling comment. From another of Obama’s books, “Dreams of My Father” a passage reads: “I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother’s race.”

Yeah, get Abdullah's edits and approval first, you kenyan slug. It is my firm belief that you are actively trying to harm American as much as you can in your first term ...... just in case ACORN can't deliver enough fraudulent votes next time around.

This is a nightmare. He doesn’t care at all - Americans were just the fools who gave him the checkbook and the platform he had always dreamed of having.

He gave the muzzie ‘king’ the full Monica - and whatever else. Yes, yes, Frat boy Bush held hands [which hand, one wonders] with one of these slimy Saudi goatsuckers, but at least he wasn’t down on his knees honking away like Nurse Lovelace.

[Article] Obama, who visited Saudi Arabia and said he sought King Abdullah's advice before the speech to be delivered in Egypt....

Last trip, he bowed. This trip, he groveled.

But the "typical white people" back home get the finger and the "thug thizzle".
