I’m going to order this. I talk about the case and the Scottsboro trial with my 12th graders. Each year, I do an in-depth read and analysis of To Kill a Mockingbird. We talk about the Scottsboro trial and compare/contrast it with the Duke Lacrosse case. It leads to a great discussion about racism and sexism.

Strange how the MSM has just had no interest in continuing to examine the deeper meaning of this particular hoax.
The University of NC at Chapel Hill always picks a book that their freshman are required to read each year. If this is a good treatment of the Duke Rape Hoax, then it would be a good selection for the incoming freshmen this Fall. But it probably wouldn’t teach the white guilt, multi-culti drivel lessons the U of NC seems to prefer.

The author is FReeper CondorFlight. Have you read the book? Amazon doesn't seem to have a whole lot of description of it on their site; anyone who's read it should write a good review of it.

It was just released today. Many who follow the case on Liestoppers have ordered it, as have I. We extensively discussed what he should/shouldn’t include in the book on several occasions.
He said a book was needed that told the story from the viewpoint of someone who lived the case in real time on the internet. He was one of the original posters back in the spring of ‘06 here at FR. The keyword DukeLax should bring up all the threads.
I’m excited for him and for Liestoppers and FRee Republic. And I’m proud to call him a FRiend!

Excellent. I need to get that on the stack.
I rub this case in the nose of Leftists at every opportunity, and use it as an example of misguided “multiculturalism” and White Guilt for middle-of-the-road folks.

I wish Jonathan Swift over at LieStoppers would write a book. Always liked his posts and questions. Actually, there are many talented people over there. I still have a Tony Soprano creation on my iPod. Turn it up!
