Eggs taste is determined by the feed.

Is wireless better than cable?

Now I know why the caged bird lays.

Did anyone ask the chickens how they feel about being in a cage? Or did the eco-nazis just assume that chickens are smart enough to care? My hunch is that as long as they have plenty of food, it’s not a big deal for them, which would make them smarter than the average eco-nazi.

Oddly enough Kalifornia’s population grew by 225,000 in 2008.

These idiots will be moving into your states and they will, eventually, attempt to change your laws. The same thing happened to Oregon.

When my husband and I moved to Washington State, nearly 30 years ago, this phenomenon happened in the Seattle area. Housing prices skyrocketed, and all of a sudden we were a strictly one-party state. (The East side of the State simply cannot overcome the numbers.)

I am always amazed at how these idiots from CA flee the state because of the myriad problems of the state of CA; yet, they bring their same voting patterns with them, ruining the states that they flee to and turning them into the same failed government that they left.

The idea is to make the basic luxuries and necessities of life unaffordable on an individual basis,

so that you’ll have to go to government for all your needs.

Then, they can either grant or withhold these goods depending on whether you are in favor with those in power.

Ever see what a yard-bird does after it poops? It turns around and eats it!

My late father refused, all his life, to eat chicken because he had observed that exact thing when he was a kid and just couldn't handle eating chicken after that.

Same in Oklahoma. I buy cage free eggs at Walmart and pay $0.30 or less per dozen, and they do taste better. I have been considering buying eggs from the one of the people that raise chickens here. I miss farm fresh eggs that I grew up on in Ohio.

What’s the definition of “cage free”? We have laying chickens, and we have to keep a mesh fence around them so the dogs and weasels won’t get them.

But they do get to walk around, eat bugs and stuff, and enjoy the fresh air, and return to their coop at night.

The eggs are super good.

Organic chicken farmers we know of put their chickens ‘out to pasture’ in a movable pen. This follows where the cattle have been pastured, and then the chickens can pick through the cattle ‘droppings’ as well as bugs for their feed. Fried chicken did taste good, I guess determined ‘by the feed.’ LOL

I get my eggs from a lady who has free range chickens, they are 1.50 a doz and she delivers no extra charge. Eggs are placed in the cooler at our front door every other Wed.
Of course I live in smalltown NC and things are different here.

Yes, the population grew but most were illegals as well as those looking for jobs. The problem is, many, many companies are moving out and taking their jobs with them.

I say let’s house all chickens at Gitmo, because, so far, not even Obama can close it down.

I worked on the same chicken farm in South Jersey for 5 years when I was a kid. The birds wandered through the coop during the day,but always layed the eggs in the “Nest” (cage) and slept on the roosts at night. How are the farmers going to collect eggs when they are all over the coop lying in chicken manure? Chickens are aggressive. They fight and kill each other. They are also cannibals. They eat each other and any egg that breaks. This law is more stupidity from the left. I'm sick of liberals and their asinine policies.
