Wilders Causes Another Row. Pre-Captivity Stockholm Syndrome

In November 2008 a Dutch journalist, Joanie de Rijke, was abducted by Taliban fighters in Afghanistan. She was held captive, raped repeatedly, and released after six days for a ransom of 100,000 euros ...

Wilders said,

“is a perfect illustration of the moral decline of our elites. They are so blinded by their own ideology that they turn a blind eye to the truth. Rape? Well, I would put this into perspective, says the leftist journalist: the Taliban are not monsters. Our elites prefer to deny reality rather than face it. One would expect: a woman is being raped and finds this unbearable. But this journalist is not angry because the Muslim involved also showed respect. Our elites, whether they are politicians, journalists, judges, subsidy gobblers or civil servants, are totally clueless. Plain common sense has been dumped in order to deny reality. It is not just this raped journalist who is suffering from Stockholm syndrome, but the entire Dutch elite. The only moral reference they have is: do not irritate the Muslims – that is the one thing they will condemn.”

"It is not just this raped journalist who is suffering from Stockholm syndrome, but the entire Dutch elite. "

The self-loathing of Western white civilization in general, more than any other factor, explains the fanatical determination to self-destruct.

It's a sociological phenomenon of astounding proportions, and the only real explanation for the fervent multi-faceted endeavors to achieve their own annihilation, from Barrack Obortion's foolish popularity and unprecedented free reign to dismantle the United States to the global warming hoax to the appeasement of the clearly anti-human religion started by the bogus "prophet" Muhammad.

Dressed in a burka, she tried to get in touch with the Taliban to do a human interest story about them.

What? No government warning human interest stories about the Taliban can be hazardous to your health.

People like de Rijke, however, no longer judge people by their behavior and their actions, but condone them for the noble motives which they imagine have driven them to commit their acts. As Wilders said, “They are so blinded by their own ideology that they turn a blind eye to the truth.”

And a blinder eye to common sense.

So Joanie de Rijke says its ok to rape her as long as you respect her??

Rape is probably the greatest sign of disrespect there is.

She is suffering big time from the Liberal disease.

She is no beauty queen , but she isnt all that bad. Here I have been taking women out for steak and lobster and this woman is ok with tea and biscuits, and a little respect..What a waste.

Give her my phone number 911-OU812. maybe she will call.

"She is no beauty queen , but she isnt all that bad. "

I was thinking she was perhaps proof of the Muslim theory that Western women are all whores as evidenced by the way the dress and behave, and are begging non-verbally for them to rape them.

Any way you cut it, the woman is a certifiable nut case.

she explained,... ... I wanted to refine the story. A person is not a monster because he calls himself Taliban.”

Well, yes he is.

That nonsensical statement might work with children and the thoroughly ignorant, but not with any adult who is aware of what the taliban is and what the taliban has done.

This skank just had her jollies and used the experience as political ammunition.

I think the taliban would have released her for $19.95...

Collective guilt. Sociologists may look back one day and say there was a kind of mass hysteria.

Who could believe that seven years after 9/11 we would elect a Muslim President.
