Questions over the fact that President Obama's Supreme Court nominee, Sonia Sotomayor, claims membership in La Raza, which has promoted driver's licenses for illegal aliens, amnesty programs and no immigration law enforcement by state and local police, are spreading, with both CNN and MSNBC featuring discussion of the issue with a severe critic of illegal immigration.
WND reported earlier this week when it was confirmed the American Bar Association listed La Raza, which means "the Race," as one of the groups in which Sotomayor is a member.
Talk radio icon Rush Limbaugh described Sotomayor as a "racist" based on her statement that she should be able to make better judgments than a white man, not on her La Raza membership.
But former U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., took the criticism a step further in his interviews on the two networks.
On MSNBC, Tancredo said Sotomayor should be disqualified from the court nomination because of her remarks.

Being Hispanic is not a criteria for seating a Supreme Court Justice. More is being made about her race than her actual judicial record. In the real world, the fact that she and her crowd do not understand a democracy is based on three co-equal branches of government is grounds for showing her the road.
This is looking more and more like a mouthpiece for racial minority seeking to exert raw power---to marginalize the majority-----something one finds in failed Third World satraps.

She is an obvious insult to justice and every lawyer in the country should stand and say so.

I hope that DEMS as well as REPUBS say No to this pick. Not all DEMS are radicals, but haven’t seen any stats if they are for or against her.
He has that, plus, never forget, Alinsky. Sort of the same thing, but Obombahlambah grew up as a disciple of Alinsky. He used Alinsky tactics in the past, and still does today, as do a great many 'Rats. The two most glaring examples, all in the first hundred days or so, are obvious to anyone with the eyes to see:
1. Class Hatred, Envy, and Warfare
2. Racial Division, Strife, Hatred, and Warfare
These two things go to the heart of the socioeconomic stability of any nation. Destabilizing that is the first step for any collectivist revolution. It's being played out before our eyes, but, sadly, it seems to have the support of the majority of the sheeple, and of course is being heralded and lionized by the complicit media.

that Sotomayor’s membership in La Raza is no more a threat than Thurgood Marshall’s membership in the NAACP. Net result: Sotomayor is confirmed and LaRaza and its goals become identified as not only not a threat, but are welcomed into the mainstream of American politics.
Maybe it would be more PC to call her a “Razist.”

Oh, but I'm sure we haven't seen the end of criteria for justices whose background or personal experience will allow them to better "interpret" the Constitution. Perhaps the next nominee should be a transgendered individual who weighs 450 pounds. That makes just about as much sense if one is to believe that justice is "different" for select groups of people.
Do people even remember the image that represents Justice? There's a reason she is wearing a blindfold, holding scales in one hand and a sword in another. And it has absolutely nothing to do with personal or bias.
This will be a fascinating Senate confirmation....if there are any non-RINOs with guts left.
The alternative is to have her withdrawn, and have a far more intelligent, respected and persuasive woman like Wood take her place. Wood is someone who could sway Anthony Kennedy on key issues. Sotomoron NEVER could.

Where's you evidence that what Obama is doing has the support of the majority of the People? The majority don't know, what he's doing, so how can they support it?
I do agree that Obama/Democrat's actions are de-stabilizing the country. They have painted targets on the backs of tens of millions of Americans and have decided to punish these Americans. How long will tens of millions of Americans accept that punishment, before attacking back?
Obama is creating class divisions, racial divisions and religious divisions. It's not the road to a peaceful and prosperous society.
Hey, they used similar phraseology so often on their grant applications for feral money, Congress automatically sends them 10M dollars every time a spending cap bill is introduced.

In the grocery store one of the tabloid’s front covers read something like this “Michelle’s racism”, I only wish I would have grabbed it. When the wheels come off this Mau Mau administration it aint gonna be pretty. The soft white lib kiddies will be the first off the boat and he will be left with Wall St. banksters and Black Panthers.
On their website they back off from that translation, so expect to see that definition of LaRaz to be a talking point.
We will need proof of that to show the American people, not that I don’t believe you but it must be in their words.

United Parcel Service Inc. gave $750,000 to Hispanic civil rights group National Council of La Raza (NCLR) to help that organization develop programs and services for Latino communities.
The grant will go to NCLR’s Campaign for Stronger American Communities to provide direct services or advocacy for millions of Latinos in education, health, home ownership and workforce development.
Atlanta-based UPS (NYSE: UPS) has worked with NCLR since 1982 and is the 2009 Title Sponsor of Latino Expo USA, which will be held at the NCLR 2009 Annual Conference, July 25–27 in Chicago.
“This grant is a natural extension of UPS’ commitment to serving the communities where our employees live and work,” said Ken Sternad, president of The UPS Foundation, in a news release. “We have seen over the years NCLR’s shared commitment to those communities, and we are delighted to help ensure that their important work continues.”
Plus he thinks every American is as cowardly as the beltway GOP.
