Airport security officers carried the woman away by the feet and arms as she protested her removal.

She later identified herself as Brenda Lee, a writer for the Georgia Informer in Macon and said she has White House press credentials. The newspaper's Web site says it is a monthly publication, and a Brenda Lee column is posted on it.

No such thing as a “Roman Catholic priestess”.

Yep.

Preistess do not exist in the clergy of the Roman Catholic Church.

But non Catholics would not know this.

Right, because non-Catholics know absolutely nothing about Roman Catholicism. We've never heard of nor understand such alien concepts as nuns, The Pope, Purgatory, Cardinals, priests, The Immaculate Heart Of Mary, penances, Extreme Unction, confession, the Intercession Of The Saints, Baptism, the Stations Of The Cross, or anything.

Thank you for pointing this out.

A “Catholic Priestess” who wants to deliver a letter on the subject of traditional marriage.

Well, I suppose if you’re a whackjob, you can still choose to defend orthodoxy. But hey Lady, get off our side!

But enough do to realize it's a plant. Look, the Catholic Church is a fortress that's been under siege since it was founded. From time to time, evil will breech it's walls in the forms of pedophile priests, ungodly servants of God and in other more subtle forms. There's also the group of people looking for any excuse to slander the Church, "just because". It's part of the territory and even Jesus warned us about this behavior.

All of that still can't prevent nor erase the good the Church has done in the name of God.

This was the problem : she wanted to hand Obama a letter urging him "to take a stand for traditional marriage."

“No such thing as a “Roman Catholic priestess”.”

Actually, there is....
But it’s not recognized by the Vatican.

She’s probably an Apostolic Charismatic Catholic. They ordain “Priestesses”, as well have married “priests”.

And the Black and Latin Charismatics are quite popular in the Southeast.

“Those “Security officers” look like arabs”

I also look arab in part because of the dark skin I inherited from my South American father, even though my mother is from Spain and very white.

I was on one occasion been randomly targeted by two very white males for an unprovoked racist attack involving foul language, being spat at, and beer bottles thrown from a vehicle as I walked home from work. Don’t be those racists, it does nothing for our just cause.

I can usually tell the difference between an arab and a hispanic... and in either case, I dont chuck beer bottles at people. Unless its absolutely necessary, of course.

You mean like wiping out the entire population of Provence or maybe the St. Batholomew’s Day massacre?

Actually, there isn't. If you aren't in communion with the Holy See, you aren't Catholic regardless of what you call yourself.

Quite telling that you didn’t mention the execution of Saint Thomas More or Mary Queen of Scots or The Peasants’ War or the antics of Cromwell, the Earl of Kent, the KKK, the Blaine Amendments, the Philadelphia Nativist Riots, et al.

First off, two wrongs don’t make a right.

Second, the Catholic Hierarchy held the world’s balance of power in their hands for one thousand years, and it’s my guess that the innocent people they had killed by the civil “authorities’, peasants and Crusaders ran into six, seven figures. No one knows, because the perpetrators controlled and still control the media.

By all means, 100% yes.

Unless you would condemn all blacks for a single black man robbing a bank, or perhaps dislike all Latinos because a Latina blew you off. Would you condemn the works of Mother Theresa because of the scenario you mentioned?

In any case above, I would not condemn them. As a non-Catholic I've met some of the most wonderful Christians from the Catholic Church.

Again, the church is under assault from all aspects of evil. Yet they do not prevent nor erase the good the Church has done in the name of God.

Perhaps I mistook your point?

“Perhaps I mistook your point?”

Perhaps. But if the Catholic Church has done some good, it is recorded. Jesus said “And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira (Rev. 2:18) write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;
19: I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.
20: Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
21: And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
22: Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
23: And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
24: But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.
25: But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.

She performs (dead) works best. She has the spirit of Nicolaitanism, too. In Greek that means “power over the people”.

I think I just got to the point where I feel that we're all working towards the same end. I mean, yes, there are very evil people who have infiltrated one Church or another and done their damage. The power constructs of the medieval era made the Church as particularly attractive target. Who weren't motivated to serve God were motivated by the power positions provided. Food, money and other temptations serve3d to draw those who should have never held positions of authority, even to this day.

But in the end, God's message gets out and people live by the word. There are problems in the process, but in the end, the Church has served as an effective medium to spread Christianity.

And we Christians need to stick together these days and stand by our brothers in Israel, too.

Most of the women in my life are Catholic along with my very best friends. I'm a WASP myself, but my observations are that all of the pomp and ceremony that takes place in the Catholic church has not diminished my friends and family as Christians. I honestly believe they are taking the right message from the Church and applying it to their lives.

Yes, I've attended religious in the Catholic Church and have been interested in the amount of ceremonial rituals that take place in a standard service. Yet in judging the results of what the Church has produced, I'm compelled to believe God touches each individual personally to convey his message. The Church is simply a formal medium for conveyance of the word.

Each Church is different...the word is the same.

Many Catholics are good Christians in spite of the church. It teaches its people to love their neighbors and stay away from occult things like Ougi boards and fortune tellers.

On its books it has things like “It is not a sin to kill a Protestant” (Council of Trent) and “If anyone says “The Eucharist is not the actual Body of Christ” let him be anathama. These doctrines of demons are policies of the Roman Catholic Church.
