US President Barack Obama has drawn a line on Israeli settlement expansion before he meets with Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas as part of his urgent quest to revive peace talks. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Obama made it clear, when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited here last week, that he wants "no natural growth exceptions" to his call for a settlement freeze.

The list, ping
Bibi doth laugh in his face.
And Obama gets to decide this for Israel because why?
I’m sure the Israelis are sced now.
Im sure the Israelis are scared now.
First GM...
...now Israeli settlements
Obama will be as successful in those endeavors as he has been with NKorea and Iran.
So the man who complained about the rules of the post war world being decided upon by Roosevelt and Churchill sitting in a room with brandy has no trouble drawing Arab borders on sovereign Israeli territory?
Israel has gotten itself into a spot where it has to depend on US largesse. Now that the US is going to hell in a handcart, it becomes obvious how foolish that was.
Well, he does think he’s king of the world.
Someone needs to point out to the arrogant fool Obama that it is not his line to draw.
Bibi has probably already done that, but I suspect Obama is a slow learner.
This administration will be harsher on our friends than on our enemies. When NK thumbs it’s nose, will Obama slam Israel out of frustration?
As enemies of Israel go, Obama does not rank very highly in the fear factor department.
Any settler I know would kick his butt.
Well, he'll have to choose someone considered a non- threat to push around, so he'll look tuff to the rest of the world.
In the mean time, he'll offer more empty words of how " the world will have to come together and send a strong message to NK", while he uses his harshest rhetoric to threaten Israel to aquess to their terrorist neighbors.
This will be interesting to watch!
It worked pretty well for 60 years. Nothing lasts forever.
Hey, good for him... Nice of him to present his policy without regard for the region and it’s implications... Of course he knows best...ha - that will be the day!
Yes, the "NO-preconditions-guy" has laid down his decree, hasn't he?The image sticking best in the sticking place of my mind is that of the pair meeting in the White House and offering comments to the Obambian sycophant presswhores:
To Netanyahu's left is girly-boy Obama with his girly-boy legs crossed and his eyes averted from Netanyahu's. To his right is the take-no-prisoners manly Netanyahu, seated in a strong position with legs uncrossed, who's staring fiercely at Obama with well-earned contempt.
That image says all I need to know about the perilous house of Obama. Those "boys" in Congress had better man-up soon and support Israel's first-strike force instead of cowardly concessions to evil dictators.
Regards . . . Penny
Israel should tell the “magic negro” to go back to Kenya.
