We don't think it's a surprise to anyone that there's a double standard in Hollywood when it comes to looks and weight loss.
Why is it that Jessica Simpson and Hilary Duff get creamed for putting on a few pounds while Russell Crowe and Tom Hanks get awards for it?

Age happens.
Because women trash each other over stuff like that, and they don't care so much about it happening to guys. It's the women and the gay men who run America's celebrity news who are responsible for all of these "controversies."

Have you seen Vincent D’Nofrio on Law & Order CI? He looks like a pig! He was quite skinny when the show first came on the air.
Simpson and Duff are still young women. Comparing them to guys in their late 50s or 60s is kind of ridiculous.
