On Friday night’s Real Life with Bill Maher on HBO, the host typically assaulted the Bible and the God of the Old Testament. He said of the Bible and the Koran "These are two books that are filled with hatred and wickedness and all kinds of immorality. I mean, I can’t think of a character who is less reliable as a role model than the God of the Old Testament." Newsweek editor Jon Meacham could only respond with pandering humor for liberals: "He’s kind of Cheneyesque actually – that runs through the God of Abraham...He didn’t shoot anybody. He smited them."
As Maher suggested he was too bright to believe in Jesus the "Jewish Zombie,"

There is a lot to pray for in this life.....Bill Maher is NOT one of those things.
Maher is so puerile he brings out he boy in me. If I confronted him in person, I would not think to argue with him. I would be tempted, and undoubtedly would succumb to the temptation to punch him in the mouth.

Unfortunately for you, Mr. Maher, He’s the sole God of the only universe there is.
When you die you will stand naked before him and give an account of everything you’ve ever said and done. You may not like what He does, but he’s still you’re judge, and there’s no appeal beyond His decision. He’ll decide then whether to have you thrown into Hell or escorted to Heaven.
Someday, it’s gonna really suck to be Bill Maher.
