Janeane Garofalo in her disgusting interview with MSNBC's Keith Olbermann last month said anybody at April's Tea Parties that wasn't white had to be suffering from Stockholm Syndrome.
On Friday, Barbara Howard, a black, Republican media and government relations consultant from Florida, took on this absurd stereotype -- "I dare say that Miss Garofalo knows little or nothing about black folk and definitely not black Republicans" -- while claiming President Obama "thinks he knows more than everybody, including all 43 presidents before him."
In a South Florida Times op-ed marvelously titled "The Politics of Blackness: A Little Knowledge is a Dangerous Thing," Howard discussed how Obama's healthcare proposal would have negatively impacted her recent stay in the hospital.

I was praying that Chloe Obrien would have beaten the living crap outta Garofalo.
You Go Girl.....!!
Sorry I hate That Phrase TOO!!
Bravo...
AMEN to that.
Good for her is right! Only bigots see color.
I am always perplexed by how liberals always seem to make a big deal out of someone’s race while most conservatives only use that when it is appropriate like being askjed what someone looks like and then describing how someone looks? It makes no sense to me.
Excellent article.
“...I look forward to the day when it won’t be a big deal and politics won’t have any racial component at all...”
Sorry to tell you, but Black Republicans will always be the BIGGEST target for the Left. They are hated by the Left more than Bush or Cheney.
I get the impression that Chloe is on the same page as that dirtbag.
Yeah, but they sorta got friendly in the last episode....
HNIC...lol.
“I am always perplexed by how liberals always seem to make a big deal out of someones race while most conservatives only use that when it is appropriate like being askjed what someone looks like and then describing how someone looks? It makes no sense to me.”
Why would that perplex you?
The Republicans fought to free the slaves. The Republicans sponsored and supported the Civil rights act. Today the Republicans fight against the “soft bigotry of low expectations” when they seek to replace affirmative action with more empowering permanent solutions, like educational vouchers.
Conversely, the Southern Dems founded the KKK, wrote the Jim Crow laws of the south, and created a social policy that destroyed the black family and fostered their dependence on the state, which currently explains why dependent blacks tend to vote for dems after living on the liberal plantation so long.
Yes I know all of that stuff and that is why it perplexs me that the liberals brand us with that stuff when it was them who did it? It’s not that hard to uncover the truth, just look up George Wallace’s political affiliation, look in the national archvies for the letters from blacks complaining that they needed military help because they and republicans were being lynched. etc, etc... that is why I’m perplexed that the true bigots get away with this and no one ever calls them on it.
I think it’s because the Republicans typically don’t do PR well.
I have a horrible, horrible confession to make: I think Janeanne Garofalo is cute.
Okay, go ahead, flame me. I deserve it.
That's one of those points that makes it painfully obvious that "24" is fictional. If the show were realistic, she certainly would have.
I have to admit, once upon a time, I would have agreed...before she opened her mouth and made it obvious what an empty-headed shrew she really is. Sorry, but that sucks all the "cuteness" clean out of her.
Barf afalo finds it popular and trendy to speak out on what she calls her beliefs. She hasn’t a clue as to what is going on in this country, who is who etc. Idiot big time.
cute has nothing to do with what the story here is.
To all my black friends, the empty suit is NOT black, he is NOT your friend and once he got what he wanted he will throw you under the bus as quickly as anyone else.
He sold his soul and takes he orders from others and they allow him to be the center and permit him to project the image that it is all about him while doing all the dirty work.
Great article. I’m sure it won’t be long before this woman is assailed as an “Uncle Tom.”
Good article, smart woman!
I think Janeanne Garofalo is cute.
Go stand in the corner.
Go stand in the corner.I think Janeanne Garofalo is cute.
Go stand in the corner........preferably in an eye clinic!!!!There I fixed it!!!(LOL!!!)
If it weren't for prostituting herself as a flea-bitten windbag for the Hollyweird establishment in order to earn an income, Janeanne Garofalo's station in life would be to run a T-shirt cart at the local shopping mall, the uneducated, no-talent little tree dwarf.
Wanna hit it now?

“If it weren’t for prostituting herself as a flea-bitten windbag for the Hollyweird establishment in order to earn an income, Janeanne Garofalo’s station in life would be to run a T-shirt cart at the local shopping mall...”
Now tell me what you really feel. :-)
Actually, you’re describing three quarters of the actresses in the greater Los Angeles area.
I still think she’s cute.
