Politicians who deny human-caused climate disruption elevate their own opinions above the expertise of not only climate scientists, but biologists, physicists, chemists and ecologists. It's as arrogant and inexplicable as claiming they know more about how to launch rockets than NASA, more about building skyscrapers than architects and more about computers than geeks.
A new report will now force these politicians to conclude they also know more about health and medical science than doctors. Next time they have chest pain we should hand out scalpels and insist they do their own open-heart surgery.

This guy is a kool-aid drinker of the first order. There is NO evidence that higher global temperatures will have negative health consequences - only speculation by those looking fora crisis.
And in any case, there is nothing mankind can do about global temperatures. The real threat is global cooling such as that seen in the last ice age. That will definitely have negative outcomes for mankind as people freeze to death and crops fail on a global scale.
Algore can't add much less understand planetary science or climatology or even thermodynamics.

The world population is rising, so naturally there will be more people affected by disease and malnutrition. Once they have the power to regulate carbon emissions, the next step will be to regulate reproduction.
I've heard statistics that say doctors are the third leading cause of death in the US. They need to concentrate on cleaning up their own profession instead of preaching to the rest of us about climate change.

When "Dr." Gore diagnosed the earth with a fever, against what objective measure was he comparing the current average temperature?
If a patient were brought into the ER suffering with hypothermia and the (real) Dr. noted, after treatment, a rise in temperature, doing anything to stop the rise might be considered malpractice.
The first order of business with these loons is to ignore the fact that the earth is not warming but is actually cooling.
The science behind global warming is like testing a drug using a computer model to determine how humans will react to it. The ‘science’ of global warming is based on computer models which generously know about 10% of how our global environment behaves. Anyone who says the science is settled isn’t scientific.

If those groups had the same track record as the so-called "climate scientists" who attempted to foist global warming on us, and who are now engaged in a re-spin of the same power grab as "climate change"... well, then yes, I would claim to know more than them. I happen to know a thing or two about large-scale computer modelling of complex systems with emergent behaviours. The GW/CC crowd apparently does not - or more precisely knows just enough to manipulate the inputs, models, and results to support their agenda. They should be ashamed to call themselves scientists. They have no respect for the scientific method. Their bald-faced lies are not the results of scientific research, but mere hunting for propaganda materials.
