Whoopi proceeded to do her usual scowl and slump in the chair act that she reserves for anyone she perceives to be of a different mindset than hers. Most especially anyone not of the democrat persuasion. Whoopi was embarrassing and her sidekick Barbara Walters looked like a wannabe irate and important challenge to Glenn Beck when in reality Barbara Walters looked pitiful.

So what was the disagreement over? I didn’t seem to mention it. I guess the writer didn’t think that was important.
Whoopi and Baba acted indignant. Big news flash.
OVER WHAT?
To: stillafreemind
I’m sure Glen expected this treatment from Whoopi and the other girls...bunch of vipers.....I couldn’t watch that show if I had to AWFUL..almost as bad as Oprah. It was horrible when Whoopie asked John McCain if he wanted her to be a slave. To Bad WHOOP you already are to Chairman Zero and the Democrat party.

Forbid this show to come in my house years ago. Elizabeth was at that time the only person that resembled intelligent human life. The rest are really sick stupid nitwits.

Actually..they didnt give him time or opportunity to talk in the first segment. Not too long ago, they had Ann Coulter on. In the first segment, they left Ann in the Green Room and Barbara and her pals sat around bad mouthing Ann and critizing her new book, making it clear to the audience that the book had no redeeming features. Then, after the commercial break, they brought Ann out on stage and did it all again.
Ann called them on it and said that it was rude to talk about a person behind their back, without giving the person a chance to particiapte. But they did not seem chastened.

There is no excuse for giving them the ratings boost by going on the show knowing how you are going to be treated.

“It’s a great show.”
Not really. It is a pecking party for liberal biddies to indoctrinate housewives on a daily basis.
It certainly offers nothing positive to debate.
It airs on ABCDisney’s network and is part of the media’s “infotainment” programming, along with the Daily Show, where too many misinfomed voters get their disinformation.

Then, after the commercial break, they brought Ann out on stage and did it all again. Here's my biggest problem with The View - people watch it. And, many of those people are impressionable and many of those impressionable people actually vote. Regardless of what people say about not being influenced by the opinions of celebrities (The View is a celebrity show, not a news show), many people are in fact swayed by the musings of their favorite entertainers. And, in a close election, that can mean the difference.
The View, like almost all entertainment/talk/news shows is an in-kind contribution to the DNC. And, it's an effective one at that. It certainly doesn't help that the show's lone "conservative" is without charisma, a working knowledge of US or world history and has the debating chops of an 8th grader.
I don't know how conservatives or Republicans fight back in a game in which Democrats always have home field advantage and the home-cookin' officiating that goes along with it.

Glad you asked cause I watched the interview and STILL couldn’t make out what Whoop & Wahs were so up in arms about. All I got was that they were upset about something he said on his radio program about reserved seats on Amtrak and who approached who the weekend of the WHC dinner. It all seemed rather asinine. Hoping someone here can clarify for us.

My tagline used to be “Leftism is a mental disorder”.
I must confess that I might not have been correct in that assessment.
Could the following be more accurate?
“Leftism is demonic possession”. And in some cases I would suspect the possession is willful as in (Rolling Stones paraphrase) “I know I got demons hangin on me and I like it”.

He's ridiculous. He tries to buy credibility by trashing the Republicans which is exactly what he did on The View. He tried to sooth the snarling harpies by repeating his "Both parties are equally guilty," mantra instead of stating a clear case for what he believes.
The media hate him because they see him as a conservative so his constant repetition of "There's no difference between corruption on the Right or Left", doesn't buy him anything. He's a fool.

Last week Beck described an experience on Amtrak on his way to the WH dinner. There was a whole row of seats that were empty and when he and his wife and other people with them tried to sit down they were stopped by a woman who said those rows were reserved.
Beck told the woman he was under the impression that you can’t reserve seats on Amtrak. The woman responded by saying that when he sees who the seats are reserved for, he will understand.
He said he expected Biden or someone like that to show up but it turned out they were reserved for Whoopi, Walters, and Steve Croft.
This was according to Beck.
