The problem isnt with the Police per se. The last thing in the world you want is police deciding which laws they will ignore. The problem is squarely with the feminist pandering political leaders.
Every pound of blame we place on the police for the shameful treatment of fathers and men in domestic situations, relieves a politician of the guilt they bear.
With one small caveat, a police CHIEF is almost always a politician, not a cop.
The VAW act has made a cottage industry of harassing men and squeezing them. It is now routine to get a restraining order in most divorces. No one questions whether the women is telling the truth. It is extorsion and then that arrest stays on the victims record. It can destroy their chance of employment.
We’ve been thru this with a nephew. He finally ended up with custody of his kids, because his ex got convicted of fraud and theft. But without 20k in legal bills..he would have lost and been in jail himself.
The system is evil and destructive of families.
It also means that you must be very aggressive in dealing with a spose. Take action first. Put them in legal jeopardy any way you can. Dog eat Dog.
Although I see your point, exonerating complicit police officers completely is also not the right answer. A “few pounds of blame” should be directed at the police who “follow orders” in return for a paycheck while at the same time, a” few tons of blame” should be poured on those politicians.
