Pelosi and the rest of her crew kept their mouths shut regarding EIM in 2002 because GWB’s polls were in the 70% range. They could have screamed it from the rooftops that we were waterboarding terrorists and the public would have been outraged that we weren’t being tougher on the terrorists. When she said, “she had to focus on getting a different President,” that is precisely what she did.
