This week, thousands of people are getting stimulus checks in the mail. The problem is that a lot of them are dead. A Long Island woman was shocked when she checked the mail and received a letter from the U.S. Treasury -- but it wasn't for her.
Antoniette Santopadre of Valley Stream was expecting a $250 stimulus check. But when her son finally opened it, they saw that the check was made out to her father, Romolo Romonini, who died in Italy 34 years ago.
The Santopadres are not alone. The Social Security Administration, which sent out 52 million checks, says that some of those checks mistakenly went to dead people because the agency had no record of their death. That amounts to between 8,000 and 10,000 checks for millions of dollars. The feds blame a rushed schedule.
This proves they are using Democrat registration lists!
How will the dead use their checks to stimulate the economy?
The feds blame it on a rushed schedule.... but some one had to r eport the death, other wise ss checks would have continued, but then once in a while some one is arrested for receiving checks for years after a person is deceased..

Yes, death certificates are issued and if I remember correctly, I had to get about a dozen copies when my husband died.

I never heard anything about a stimulus check!
I heard that a guy got a check for his mother who died back in the sixties. When he called about it, they said they were in such a hurry to get the checks out by the deadline they didn’t have time to clean up the database.

I was visiting my Mom about a month ago and she got a letter from the Social Security Administration that started off “GOOD NEWS! You’re getting money from Uncle Sam!”
Well, at least the “Good news” part is true. But the rest of it most certainly did read like “free money” courtesy of your kind and benevolent government. It made boiling mad. I can just see all those 80 year old folks going out for a night on the town to stimulate the economy.
Right before I die, I’m going to change my voter registration to Democrat so I can live on in one way or another forever.
