On April 4, 1996, the subject of my radio show in Kansas City was Commerce Secretary, Ron Brown. He and 34 others had died the day before when their Air Force plane crashed into a Croatian mountainside.
Not one to shy from exploitation of a tragedy, President Clinton was busily profaning the memory of Martin Luther King – who had been killed on April 4, 1968 – by comparing King's mission to Brown's.
What Clinton did not say was that Brown had gone to Croatia to broker a sweetheart deal between the neo-fascist strongman who ran Croatia, Franjo Tudjman, and Enron Corporation. This was all part of the Clintons' desperate drive to raise money for their 1996 re-election campaign.
More than a few callers argued that the Clintons had the plane destroyed. I dismissed these arguments out of hand. I believed then, and believe now, that an American president would never do such a thing.
When I began my investigation for my book, "Ron Brown's Body," I thought, however, that I might very well find another link in the Mega Fix chain – that is, the cover-up of a terrorist incident for the sake of political advantage.
Brown's flight did leave Bosnia, a Muslim country swarming with mujahideen. This flight came just six months after the Dayton accords and the insertion of American troops – an unpopular move. I figured that if a terrorist missile shot Brown's plane out of the sky, or a hijacker flew it into the mountain, the Clinton White House would have good cause to conceal this fact.
But I was wrong. The evidence does not support a terrorist scenario. Here is what we know for sure about Ron Brown's last days.

One little known fact about the Ron Brown affair is that Hillary was in the area just one week before Brown’s ill-fated plane arrived in town. Could she have arranged the whole thing?

Enron spent a fortune on a project in India. Bubba was the facilitator. In the end India reneged on their part of the bag and that actually was the final loss that brought Enron down.
Bubba made several trips to India trying to get them to change their minds. To no avail.

They apparently are backing her now. But the longer they back her and it turns out Cheney of all people was right and she knew and approved, then what credibility do they have as the supposed new values party (that would never “torture”)?

I always get a little chocked up reading about Ron Brown’s plane. A girl I went to High school with died on that flight too.

I have no idea other than what I’ve read. I know my gut tells me it wasn’t just a crash.

Looks like the DNC continues the "Right Wing" drum beat using the politicians in Homeland Security and Pelosi as well to brand Veterans etc. as potential terrorists. Same tactics as under Clinton.
Some of my friends at the time stated Ron Brown was two weeks from a Federal Indictment. So I think the WH was involved beyond this glossed over version.

And in the PX, where we went to get some supplies, some toiletries for a trip into Bosnia with Shelly Kelly on this very same airplane, she was in the line ahead of me. (April 3, 1996) - letter to Congress James W Nugent, Pres The Wall Street Underground – "…Crash site, 7:20 P.M.: Four hours and 20 minutes after the crash, the first Croatian Special Forces search party arrives on the scene and finds only Ms. Kelly surviving. They call for a helicopter to evacuate her to the hospital. When it arrives, she is able to get aboard without assistance from the medics. But Kelly never completes the short hop. She dies enroute. According to multiple reports given to journalist/editor Joe L. Jordan, an autopsy later reveals a neat three-inch incision over her main femoral artery. It also shows that the incision came at least three hours after all her other cuts and bruises…. Further autopsies will probably not happen. At this writing, Clinton has ordered the cremation of all victims. It's hard to perform autopsies on ashes….."
