Don Imus says “nappy headed hoes” and is forced off the air. Wanda Sykes hopes Rush has kidney failure, but will pay no penalty of any kind for inappropriate humor. If you are making jokes about conservatives, everything is allowed, there are no standards. Whereas if you joke about liberals or minorities, it’s time for a crucifixion.

I used to like her before she became political. Back then she used to be funny. Lots of self-deprecating humor. So I saw her perform live at the Improv here in Orange County one night and she did pretty well... until she went into a series of jokes aimed at President Bush and lost the audience for the rest of the set. Truly disappointing. Haven’t been able to enjoy anything about her since then.
Comedians need to stick to comedy and stay away from politics because they’re virtually guaranteed to lose about 40% of their fan base.
