‘Like Teenage Girls At A Bay City Rollers Concert’
FinkelBlog ^

On Morning Joe today, Joe Scarborough nailed the Washington press corps for its sycophantish performance at the White House Correspondents Association dinner this past Saturday night: like a bunch of teenage girls waiting for a Bay City Rollers concert, waiting to scream at the top of their [lungs].
Mika Brzezinski, agreeing with Joe, lifted the veil on the goings-on behind the scenes, describing an enraptured TV production crew scrambling to get the most flattering shots of the prez and First Lady.

Liberals in general think and behave like teenage girls, especially the ‘men’. It’s almost impossible to reason with them.

You may very well do this already but start reading the UK papers online.
The standard of prose and fact-checking is vastly superior to begin with but they are already experiencing the end days of happy-face statism. Unfortunately we are 15 years behind them with Obama playing the role of Blair but we are destined for the same fate.

There's a term for the MSM's adoration of The One:
Fanboi: a term used to describe any man who is devoted to a single subject in an emotional or fanatical manner, or to a single point of view within that subject, often to the point where it is considered an obsession.

What a shame the msm can't see this joker as we see him....truthfully, in plain view....just like this...

"You know he didn't get up there by himself, he doesn't belong up there, and he doesn't know what to do while he's up there, and you just wonder what kind of dummies put him up there to begin with".
Nuff said.

like a bunch of teenage girls waiting for a Bay City Rollers concert, waiting to scream at the top of their [lungs]. Well, hopefully the enraptured state of the MSM will have a life about as long as the Bay City Rollers career. Maybe at least a few will recover from their stupor, but that's nothing to count on because that giddy emotional state is what so many in the MSM naturally seek and mistake for progress and improvement.

I saw that. Great line.
But I really hate it when Joe dumps conservatives as human beings under the bus while occasionally defending conservative principles.
It’s as though conservatism is a good theory but, of course, any real person who practices it is doing the wrong thing, is a fool or is much, much worse.
It’s as though he is saying “Personally, I’m a conservative but I don’t think my positions should ever really be taken seriously in real life. I’ll leave that to you kind and wise liberals.”

I’ve recently run out of adjectives to describe the media in general, and their coverage of Obama in particular.
Anyone who is able to pinpoint what’s going on between Obama and the media is taking on a rugged task and I respect them. Even Joe Scarborough :)

“Liberals in general think and behave like teenage girls,”
Yes they do...
In the 70’s, I grew up with three sisters:
1) Mid 70’s it was Roller Mania
2) 1977 it was Shaun Cassidy
3) 1978 it was Andy Gibb.
Liberals and teen girls change with whatever way the wind blows and whomever is popular at the moment.
One day soon, owning an Obama shirt will be as embarrassing to a liberal as owning a Leif Garrett tee shirt was to my sisters in the 80’s.
To: Will88
Well, hopefully the enraptured state of the MSM will have a life about as long as the Bay City Rollers career. I'm not optimistic about that. The media created this monster; they're not going to admit that "The One" aint't all that one-derful any time soon.
