Talk about slander and defamation of character. I would say the international outpouring of articles in various languages linking in Savage to violence would give him an excellent legal case.

I remember Savage saying buying cars from Japan was a threat to national security. Then he said American cars are great quality, we just need the government to protect us from Japanese cars. Then he had NY Dem Sen Chuck Schumer on (2007) his show and he KISSED UP to him. What a basket case!

I'm appalled at the silence on this issue by some of the major conservative talk show hosts who should be standing up in support of Savage's First Amendment . If these guys are affected later down the road by some form of Fairnesss Doctrine, they'll have brought it upon themselves by remaining silent now, when one of their own (despite their personal feelings about him) needs their support the most.

It is just being floated outside of the borders of the USA because they know the time is not yet ripe to do it in the USA (they saw the Tea Parties recently).
Anyone who could countenance this against Savage, because they do not like his stance, really dont realize what they are countenancing and how it can only spread until THEIR own favorite host (Limbaugh, Levin, Ingraham, Reagan, Hannity), is taken off the air.
This has all the fingerprints on it as the DHS study on "domestic terrorist groups" (linking in veterans and conservatives) does. Only it is the UK version. It should be exposed. I wonder who put them up to it??

Face it, Savage is their competition. They will keep their mouths closed if it appears there is a good chance of knocking the guy off the air. Their personal interests (not Free Speech) will tend to take precedent.

Are you setting up a strawman? I just said he’s a crackpot, sort of obvious. When you go to another country without the First Amendment you take your chances. England has massive problems bigger than this.
Again, unfotunately Savage took to being disagreeable instead of just disagreeing. But he still has his good moments.

I've caught a few articles here on FreeRepublic, but most news people don't have a problem with stifling speech they disagree with.
This is a symptom of the cause of England's problems.
